Please note that downloadable PC and Mac games are not compatible with Android devices.

Since Android games are purchased through Google Play and Amazon Appstore, Game Club credits, Punch Card coupons, and discount coupon codes cannot be used.

Please note that these walkthroughs may be slightly different because they are based on the PC and Mac versions of a game, but most of the advice should be helpful for Android users.

My game is crashing, freezing, or just not working properly. What can I do?

There are several reasons why a game may crash, freeze, or have display problems. If you’ve been playing for more than one hour consecutively, then there is a greater chance this can occur.

Improve game performance

Try these tips to improve the performance of your game:

  • Make sure your device has plenty of battery life left. If you’re playing with low battery life, the device has to work harder to run a game. We recommend playing while connected to your computer, an outlet, or after the battery has fully charged.
  • Close all applications. To free up your device’s resources, try closing all other games and apps before starting a game. For more information, please consult your device’s user manual or visit the manufacturer’s support site.
  • Restart your device if you’re still having trouble.
  • Check on updates for the game and your device.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the game. If the steps above do not help, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. You can reinstall a game from the store in which the game was purchased or downloaded.

By uninstalling your game, you will lose all saved progress and settings in that game. If this is a concern, please try all other troubleshooting steps before uninstalling and reinstalling your game.

If you’re playing a free to Play game that offers the option to link to a Facebook or Big Fish account, you’ll be able to sign in again after reinstalling.

  • To uninstall and reinstall a game through Google Play:
    1. Open the Google Play Store app.
    2. Swipe across the screen from left to right (or tap the Menu icon) to open the Store home menu.
    3. Tap My apps.
    4. From the list, tap your game.
    5. Select Uninstall.
    6. After the app uninstalls, please select Install to download it again.
  • To uninstall and reinstall a game through the Amazon Appstore:
    1. To uninstall, use the normal procedure to uninstall apps from your device. Since the process varies by device, please consult your device’s user manual or visit the manufacturer’s support site for more information.
    2. To reinstall, open the Amazon Appstore app.
    3. From the Home screen, tap the Menu icon.
    4. Tap My apps.
    5. Tap Cloud.
    6. Tap Install next to the game you wish to reinstall.
  • To uninstall and reinstall on a Kindle Fire device:
    1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
    2. Tap Device.
    3. Tap and hold down on the game you wish to uninstall.
    4. When a menu appears above the app, tap Remove from Device.
    5. Tap OK.
    6. Return to the Apps menu.
    7. Tap Cloud.
    8. Tap the game you wish to reinstall.
    9. Tap Install.

 

How can I get updates for my game?

To ensure the latest version of the game is installed, it may help to check for updates in the store from which you installed the game.

  • Google Play:
    1. Open the Google Play Store app.
    2. Swipe across the screen from left to right (or tap the Menu icon) to open the Store home menu.
    3. Tap My apps.
    4. If an update is available, Update will appear next to the game.
    5. To install an available update, tap the game, then select Update.
  • Amazon Appstore:
    1. Open the Amazon Appstore app.
    2. From the Home screen, tap the Menu icon.
    3. Tap My apps.
    4. Tap App Updates.
    5. If an update is available, your game will appear in the App Updates menu.
    6. Tap Update to install the available update.
  • Kindle Fire:
    1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
    2. Tap Store in the top-right corner of the screen.
    3. Tap the Menu icon at the bottom of the screen.
    4. Tap App Updates.
    5. If an update is available, your game will appear in the App Updates menu.
    6. Tap Update to install the available update.

 

How can I update my device?

To make sure your Android device is running the most recent software, please check for software updates. Since the process varies by device, please consult your device’s user manual or visit the manufacturer’s support site for more information.

 

Error Messages

 

“Version no longer supported” or “Incompatible”

You might see these errors when downloading a game update from the Google Play app store (Android devices), but don’t worry. These messages usually just mean that the app is having some trouble getting the game’s info.

To fix this, try clearing the cache for the Google Play store app then downloading the game update again. This should help clean up the app’s files so it can download the game update properly.

The steps to clear the Google Play store app’s cache may vary depending on the model of your Android device. However, here are some general steps that should help:

  1. From your device’s home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Scroll down and tap Applications. (It might be listed under Device.)
  4. Tap Application Manager.
  5. In the list of apps, tap Google Play Store.
  6. Tap on the Clear Cache button.
  7. Return to the home screen.
  8. Open the Google Play store app.
  9. Swipe across the screen from left to right (or tap the Menu icon) to open the Store home menu.
  10. Tap My apps.
  11. Tap the game.
  12. Tap Update.

In most cases, merchants (such as Google or Amazon) handle purchases and billing. Since we don’t handle your credit card directly, it’s best to contact these merchants for any refunds or billing questions.

Create a new account

  1. Go to the game’s Options or Settings menu.
  2. Tap the Sign In button.
  3. Tap Create Account.
  4. Enter your email address and create a password for your account.

Sign in to your account

If you already have an account, you can sign in at any time.

  1. Go to the game’s Options or Settings menu.
  2. Tap the Sign In button.
  3. Enter the email address and password for your Big Fish account.

To sign out, just tap the Sign Out button in the game’s Options or Settings menu.

Forgot your password?

If you forgot your password, just tap the Forgot your password? link on the Sign In screen. You’ll be asked to enter the email address for your account, and we’ll send you a temporary password so that you can sign in.

Never received your new password?

It is possible that our email was sent to the Spam or Junk folder of your inbox. To ensure that you receive your reset password, please add no-reply@bigfishgames.com and bigfishgames@mailwc.custhelp.com to your safe-senders list. If you still do not receive this automated email, contact Customer Support and we’ll reset your password.

Forgot your email address?

If you’ve forgotten the email address that was used to create your account or no longer have access to that email address, please contact Customer Support. In order to promptly locate your account, please provide your first and last name, first four and last four digits of the payment card on the account, and your billing address. Please do not include your entire credit card number.

Email address already in use?

If you see this message, an account with the chosen email address has already been created on the Big Fish website or in another iPhone/iPad game. To sign in to this account, please select Forgot Your Password? in the sign in window and we’ll send a new password to the email address.

Need to update your email address and/or password?

You can update your email address or password from our website.

  1. Go to www.BigFishGames.com.
  2. Click Sign In in the top right corner of the site, then sign in to your account using your current account email address and password.
  3. Click on My Account, followed by Account Info.
  4. Click Edit to enter a new email address and/or password.

Have more than one account?

It is not possible to merge multiple accounts and email addresses. If you have created more than one account, using multiple email addresses, please sign in to each of these accounts separately.

If you created an account that is assigned to an email address you no longer use, you can still sign in with that address. The email address does not need to be active. Once signed in, you can update the email address to one that has not been previously registered with us.

    2 issues, my game constantly wants me to update progress. My wife plays and she never has this issue.
    I recently logged in in a tablet and new phone, ( broke my original phone ) and I lost nearly 3000 gold and several bonus tricks~ spin savers, 2x, etc.

    I was playing my game and am on course12 game 220, I had over 24,000 coins and multiple jokers, reverses, etc. All of acsudden a pop up that says back up your game came up which then made me sign in when I was already signed in.
