Climb Mt. Rainier with Big Fish Games!
Posted on September 29, 2009 in International, Promotions, Gaming Industry News, Big Fish NewsReach New Heights with Big Fish Games!
Our partner developers know Big Fish Games can take their games to new heights, but now we’re offering all of our partners the chance to reach new heights themselves literally. We’re talking 14,411 feet, to be exact.
Starting this October, any developer who launches their game on BigFishGames.com will have a chance to win a trip to Seattle to climb Washington state’s famous Mount Rainier with one of the world’s premier high-altitude mountaineers, Ed Viesturs!
Ed will be your personal guide as you attempt to summit the fifth-highest mountain in the contiguous 48 states and the highest point in Washington state. Ed is one of only 17 people in the world to have climbed all 14 mountains on earth above 8000m (26,247 ft), so you’ll be in excellent hands. Additionally, we’ll take care of all your necessary climbing supplies and gear, as well as your flight to Seattle, ground transportation to Mt Rainier, five nights hotel stay and $500 in cash for spending money. You can even bring one friend with you as a traveling companion, although only the winner will be taken on the summit attempt up Mt Rainier.

Win Free Games Every Friday!
Posted on July 1, 2009 in Social Media, PromotionsNow you can win free games on Facebook!
Starting this Friday, July 3rd, we’re committing to two months of Free Game Fridays (maybe we’ll keep going after that...we’ll see...).
Here’s how it works. Every Friday until the end of August, we’ll post a question on the Big Fish Games Facebook page. Your job is to seek out the answer to that question and email it to promos (at) bigfishgames.com. We’ll choose a winner at random from all correct entries and award them coupons for free games!
The questions will vary and may ask you to play a downloadable game, visit the Forums, play an online game, or even come back to the Blog. Have no fear, it shouldn’t take you more than a few minutes to find the answers. This is meant to be fun, not work...wait a minute...isn’t everything here fun? ;)
The Biggest Fish Award
Posted on June 15, 2009 in PromotionsThis summer, we will be sending out a free gift to our most passionate and loyal fans!
"The Biggest Fish" Award will arrive at your home sometime this summer in recognition of everything you’ve done for Big Fish Games over the years. You don’t need to take any action – nothing is required from you. Just know we’re working on it right now and look for your award to arrive in your mailbox sometime this summer.
Remember, "The Biggest Fish" Award is only being sent to long–time customers and Big Fish fans that buy lots and lots of games. We can’t say exactly how we’re defining who will win this award – it’s a Big Fish secret. So no fair calling up Customer Service and asking them if you’re on the list, because they don’t even know who’s getting it!
Hunt for Easter Eggs with Customer Support
Posted on April 10, 2009 in Customer Support
The Easter Fishy surprised our Customer Support team with colorful eggs filled with treats hidden at their desks and now our representatives want to spread the holiday cheer.
We’ve added in a few Plush Felix, and some Marshmallow Peeps to create a silly little hidden object game just for you. We hope this is a nice intro to a wonderful holiday weekend for each and every one of you!
Felix's Favorites Treasure Chest
Posted on April 1, 2009 in Promotions
Great news...last week, Felix agreed to allow us to dive for one of his many sunken treasure chests in Elliott Bay. The water was chilly and the currents strong, but we were able to uncover a rather large treasure chest and haul it back to the office.
Turns out the chest was full of great limited-edition Big Fish Games loot! Just the kind of stuff we love to share with you. Get your hands on the booty by collecting Felix's favorite games throughout the month of April.

The Luck of the Ire-Fish!
Posted on March 16, 2009 in Big Fish News
On Sunday, March 15th, a group of Big Fish Games employees got together in Seattle to run in the 25th Annual St. Patrick's Day Dash and boy, was it cold!
Snow is pretty uncommon in Seattle, but this winter has been quite an exception. It's hard to believe we're still seeing flurries in March. It definitely made for a unique running experience and who doesn't like that?
The race went off without a hitch. We all warmed up nicely once we got moving and everyone finished with no problems.
