We’re happy to announce the addition of Megaplex Madness: Now Playing for the iPhone to Game Center! Now you can challenge for the top of the leaderboard and try your hand at any of the 36 achievements featured in the game.

If you’re unfamiliar with Game Center, it represents Apple’s latest move into the social world. Game Center adds leaderboard and achievements functionality previously available on such platforms as Plus+ and OpenFeint. Another cool feature is the opportunity to play play head-to-head multiplayer games. Even if none of your friends are currently playing, you can use auto-match to find new other people (future friends?) to challenge.

Game Center is available to anyone with an iPod touch or an iPhone running iOS 4.1. Users can create a unique nickname that is visible to friends and the gaming community.
