A big congratulations to Alexey Tugaenko of Top Evidence Studio, Ed Viesturs, Mike Uchal, and Felix T Fish on their summit of Mt. Rainier! Alexey was the winner of our Climb Mt. Rainier contest. Alexey is the developer responsible for Haunted Manor: Lord of Mirrors. In this wildly popular Hidden Object game, players must help Stan Riddle escape the clutches of the devious Lord of Mirrors. Ed and Mike acted as Alexey and Felix's guides during their journey to the top of the highest point in Washington state. Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove in LEGO Form

Recently, we received a special email from a Bev Weiler and her son, Colin Weiler. Colin eats, breathes, sleeps, and talks LEGOs and only takes a break from creating his next interlocking masterpiece to place Mystery Case Files games. After playing Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove two or three times, he decided to merge his two passions and recreate the scenes for us with LEGOs! Even better, we were able to wrangle a short interview with this budding young designer so he could share his thoughts with our audience. Enjoy! Why are LEGOs fun to play with?

Because there are so many possibilities and it's really fun to build with them and create all sorts of cool things.

Grabbing 3 of the 18 awards handed out, Big Fish Games Studios tied with ArenaNet as winners of the most awards. We want to congratulate Hamzah Kasom Osman, David Stevenson, and Steve Firchow on this wonderful accomplishment. It's great to have your work recognized - even more so when it is recognized by your industry peers. If you are unfamiliar with Into the Pixel, it represents an exploration and celebration of the art of video games from around the world.
