GENERAL TIPS

  • Upon creating a profile for the game, you will be able to choose between Detective Mode (timed) and Rookie Mode (untimed). The text for this walkthrough was generated while playing on Rookie Mode.
  • Items listed in blue on your list require the use of another item to complete them (i.e. a battery to power a flashlight). When you have such an item on your list, search the screen for an object you think would complete the puzzle.
  • Items used to complete blue item puzzles are stored in your inventory on the left side of your screen. Click on the item in your inventory, after opening it, and then click on the blue item in the field.
  • Solving blue item puzzles rewards you with an extra hint.
  • Some levels will have items in green text. These are riddle clues. To solve them, you’ll need to find an object in the scene that fits the description. Green text items also yield a hint upon completion.
  • Throughout the game you’ll come across hidden Go boards. Click on them each time you see one to play a hidden puzzle. Solving Go board puzzles grants an extra hint.
  • At the beginning of each new scene, you will be brought back up to three hints if you ended the previous scene below three. Earned extra hints carry over from level to level.
  • Each scene will contain a unique item to further tell the story of the Unicorn killer.
