Week in Review: May 5 – 11

This week, we released a fun title for the romantically adventurous with “Tiger Eye: The Sacrifice,” and a fresh, engaging option for the purely adventurous with “New Yankee in King Arthur’s Court.” If you can’t decide whether you want romance, adventure or romance-adventure, we’ve compiled a list of this week’s new releases to help you along.

1. House of 1000 Doors: The Palm of Zoroaster

House of 1000 DoorsRelease date: May 5

This hidden object game will place you in the aid of Kate Reed. You’ll have to help her find artifacts to break the power of a cursed gem! If you’re the kind of gamer that craves bonus features, the collector’s edition has bonus gameplay, as well as an integrated strategy guide.

 

 

2. Malice: Two Sisters

Another title for hidden object-, puzzle-adventure lovers. “Malice: Two Sisters” takes place on the most likely cursed Urami Island. Help Emily find her sister as she explores the abandoned island and discovers secrets within the island ruins.

 

 

3. Tiger Eye: The Sacrifice

Tiger EyeRelease date: May 7

This challenging puzzle-adventure game features two different modes. If you find the game is a little too easy, crank up the difficulty with expert mode! “Tiger Eye: The Sacrifice” features a variety of puzzles and word games that you must solve to escape pursuers in China with your love.

 

 

4. Clutter II: He Said, She Said

Release date: May 8

Clutter He Said She SaidIf you loved Clutter – and even if you haven’t played it yet – “Clutter II: He Said, She Said” brings back the clutter, and it needs to be taken care of! This hidden object game features mini games every few scenes. The sequel includes more levels, with randomly generated puzzles, and allows you to customize your level of difficulty by turning the timer and hints on or off. Everything is replayable, mini games included, so you’re sure to have hours of gameplay!

 

 

5. New Yankee in King Arthur’s Court

New Yankee in King Arthur’s Court is a time management game with 40 levels set in the time of King Arthur! After a bolt of lightning sends you to King Arthur’s Court, you set yourself on a quest to find the fountain of youth. In addition to building resource-gathering structures like windmills, you’ll have to send soldiers to defend your workers when goblins attack! The game is complete with cut scenes and a fair bit of dialogue, so you’ll have a side of plot with this time management game.

 

6. Bubblenauts: The Hunt for Jolly Roger’s Treasure

Bubblenauts is a bubble-shooter game where you have to build up combos to pop bubbles. In between bubble-popping and puzzle-solving, you’ll command your boat to search for the long-lost treasure of Jolly Roger. Every completed bubble-popping sequence unlocks new areas for exploration, and you’ll be able to gather power ups to help you in your quest to quickly pop as many bubbles as possible!

 

7. Citadel Arcanes

Citadel ArcanesRelease date: May 9

“Citadel Arcanes” tests your arcane knowledge by allowing you to use your match 3 game skills to restore the healer’s circle. As you work toward becoming the greatest architect in the kingdom, you’ll experience a wealth of character dialogue, complete with character voice overs!

 

 

8. Rebuild the History

Another match 3 game that has you using your skills to gather resources to rebuild the historical buildings of long long ago. The game provides you with information about each building you reconstruct. Ever wonder about the history of the Eiffel Tower? Now you can rebuild it to find out! With 120 levels of history-rebuilding challenges, this game will keep you busy for a while.

 

9. Jewels of the East India Company

If you’re fascinated by early 19th century lore, and want to take part in the East India Company’s quest for glory (and treasure!), “Jewels of the East India Company” delivers what you’re looking for. Put your match 3 skills to use to help the company to find treasure in India’s Blue Mountains. Make sure the sun never sets on the British empire by matching gems horizontally, vertically and any other way you can find to match them!

 

10. Fabled Legends: The Dark Piper Collector’s Edition

The Dark Piper has the Pied Piper’s magical flute, and is using it to infest the town of Hamelin with rodents! Explore this hidden object game to find everything you need to defeat the Dark Piper and save the town. The collector’s edition features bonus gameplay and an integrated strategy guide, so that ghastly Dark Piper won’t be able to leave you in the dark for long. Defeat him before he sends his rats to rampage across all of Europe!
