Software Design Engineer in Test IV – Services Team

THE MISSION...

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Software Development Engineer in Test to work closely with development and drive the test efforts on various projects with their team. You will be responsible for handling, costing and delivering projects from start to finish and ensuring a robust, bug-free product with our Customers in mind. This candidate will be an experienced SDET who will focus on building, expanding and supporting the in house systems that serve games to our customers, growing and supporting a team of SDET’s and working with business on priorities.  This position includes a lot of programming, but the willingness and ability to do what the project entails.  They will also have to drive employees’ and colleagues’ deliverables as well as career growth.

REQUIRED ABILITIES, ACHIEVEMENTS, AND XP

  • Experience over multiple release cycles in software development, with specific focus on test plans, test frameworks, test strategies, execution of test cases and overall software quality enforcement
  • 7+ years testing scalable data driven services which support multiple client types
  • 3+ years leading a technical team delivering large data projects
  • Experience in developing automation framework and automated test cases in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, Python and database / NoDB technologies
  • Experience testing and/or building sophisticated distributed systems
  • Experience in detailed log file analysis & diagnosis of problems in distributed systems
  • Understanding and testing for system and application performance and scalability
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant area is required along with 5-8 years of work experience with transactional business critical systems
  • Strong testing & analytic skills along with passion for high quality and collaboration
