About the Team

Our team is comprised of about 17 folks, but we're growing. We are a centralized division that supports the various business groups within Big Fish. Think of us as a start-up ad agency within a larger company. Our culture encourages testing, trying new things, learning from our mistakes, and becoming smarter and stronger moving forward.


THE MISSION

We are currently on the hunt for a talented Artist to join our User Acquisition Team based in Seattle who will be responsible for creation and production of video assets to drive the growth of our customer base. 

THIS INCLUDES…

  • Create and produce a variety of videos for Facebook ads and App Store leveraging both game assets as well as new asset creation
  • Use commercial software to create high-quality animated videos
  • Build and incorporate 3D/2D art assets into a visually stylish presentation
  • Follow schedules set by the Art Director and Project Manager
  • Game capture from different mobile devices
  • Work within the requirements and constraints of game design, engine, and platforms
  • Take direction in style and technique, and work cooperatively, having your work handled by other team members
  • Storyboard video concepts
  • Proactively seek feedback from the Art Director and Motion Graphics Lead to establish style and mood
  • Create marketing materials and 3D objects

REQUIRED ABILITIES, ACHIEVEMENTS, AND XP

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design/Video or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with tools such as Photoshop, Maya, Cinema4D, 3dsMax, After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite and industry standard plugins such as the Trapcode Suite
  • Background/experience in motion graphics, editing, or cinematography
  • Experience in the online/mobile/social gaming space preferred
  • Expertise in animation principals
  • Knowledge of design and 3D modeling, including texture mapping and rigging
  • HTML 5 experience preferred
