We’re looking for an exceptionally bright and self-motivated paralegal to join this highly dynamic and fast-moving in-house legal team. This role requires the confidence and communication skills to effectively interface with colleagues and clients, attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, efficient organizational skills, and the ability to switch gears at a moment's notice.   


  • Assist in the drafting and negotiation of NDAs and commercial contracts
  • Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes
  • Conduct and perform preliminary analysis of trademark clearance searches, maintain records and prepare reports to internal business clients
  • Assist with other intellectual property matters
  • Conduct legal research as needed on various topics as they arise
  • Prepare responses to subpoenas and other governmental and law enforcement inquiries
  • Assist with the management of corporate maintenance
  • Assist with other legal team needs and projects as they arise


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of law firm or in-house legal department experience, including experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, preferably in the technology space
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Outlook is essential, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Impeccable judgment and the ability to make sound decisions, take initiative, and simplify
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to prioritize and efficiently execute a high volume and broad scope of tasks with a varying number of stakeholders within tight deadlines
  • Excel at independent work while also able to collaborate with others
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to handle confidential information using a high degree of tact, discretion and diplomacy
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
  • Experience in trademark clearance/preliminary availability searches
  • Knowledge of TESS and eCO
  • Knowledge of IP enforcement (i.e. familiarity with dispute policies, takedown notices)
  • Knowledge of Serengeti
