Very entertaining Very challenging for me. I loved it. I do like the type that you have to find something and bring it else where to get that area solved so you can move on to the next. Great game. March 10, 2012
Great game and fun I enjoyed this game. The storyline was good and easy to get around. Did not have to go all over the place to keep going forward. I think all the ERS games are great to play. August 5, 2012
Very Creepy Game I had not played this one before, because it just didn't look like something I was interested in. I was right about that! However, by the middle of the game I was hooked, only to get thru it - I mean, what's up with the half man, half octupus guy? That was just strange. I also thought some of the content was just disgustingly gross, i.e., what kind of sicko plays on the fears of others? HOS were just difficult enough to be somewhat of a challenge, which I confess, I like very much; however, like some of the other HOGs out there, some items were misnamed, so difficult to figure out what exactly you're looking for. The puzzles were not overly difficult, I felt some could have been a bit more challenging. That being said, I found the puzzles refreshingly different and fun, and a few even great. I did have to refer to the walkthrough several times to figure out what to do next, some things were left so long, that you forget about them in completing the rest of the game April 5, 2012
Haunted Halls: Green Hills Sanitarium Here I am writing my first review. What can I say. I loved the game. I had try it when it came out and could not get it but I gave it another try and voila! For somebody who do not like a lot of back and forth and very challenging puzzles this is the game. The graphics are good, the sound is excellent , the story is very good, easy to follow, the tasks are manageable and you have fun . I can't wait to try the second installement. My only mistake was that I bought the game in SE and I regret it. I like to have the SG explaining me what to do next. Next time II will buy the CE. I really reccommend this game. April 2, 2012
It's a keeper. Great game and story. I did however have to check the blog walk through twice. I applaud those who figured out those two tasks. January 29, 2012
on the edge hidden object game this game is exciting from beginning to end. it pulls you in and you cant stop til your done... January 27, 2012
Started well... I liked the first half of the game but it went down hill from there.. stupid storyline and ending. Such a shame as the design is great and setting is creepy enough to be really excellent but while do they feel the need to ruin these games with stupid "baddies" ... just no need. Maybe I am just getting too old! February 16, 2012
Wow That Was Tough! Great game, enjoyable, but I had to check the walkthrough guide a LOT more than I would have liked. I guess I like games that are a little easier to figure out what needs to happen next. I agree with other reviewers that after releasing the patients from their fears, the patients should leave but they don't. The ending was a little disappointing, all that work to help what's his name and for what? The journey through the asylum was cool, a lot to do, but very frustrating for me at the same time. I look forward to getting into something new now :) January 6, 2013
Favorite!!! Loved the hour download and will purchase. The most gruesome hidden object game I've played on BFG, and a ton of fun. Eyeballs. LOL April 28, 2012
Twisted and Interesting A very original game, with intriguing problem/solution play and interesting environments. I enjoyed moving through the rooms of Green Hills Sanitarium, seeing its different scapes, and reading the dossiers on its patients and their disorders. The solutions to each puzzle/area manage to be feasible and enjoyable, without being needlessly difficult or blatantly obvious. This is one of the better hidden object games that I've played, and the I hope to play the sequel. March 16, 2012
