Death at Fairing Point: A Dana Knightstone Novel Collector's Edition 4.5 5 23 23
Great story, wonderful art This game has a very different style from most of the HO games I've played. Rather than finding hidden objects some puzzles matched items, or removed items that didn't belong in a given context. Not bad, just different. None of the levels are too large, but large enough to make them challenging, and when strung together create a complex and satisfying story.. The artwork is superb, far superior to all the other games I've played. My personal favorite is the garden of the English Manor, just magnificent. November 27, 2011
Death at Fairing Point Like all of Dana Knightstone's Novel games, I quite enjoy them. They present enough of a challenge that I can't just skip through them. There is a decent storyline through each game. While I have seen reviews attesting dislike at the out-loud thinking of the hero, I find human utterances make the game more "liveable", not just a silent screen play. Be sure to play Tuscan Skies CE, a Dana Knightstone Novel game. November 25, 2011
Fun Hidden Object, Puzzle, Adventure, Romance Game Loved this game. Great graphic scenes with lots of vivid detail and various areas to explore. Good storyline with some romance and adventure too keep interest up. Just the right amount of hidden objects and challenging puzzles to make you really think and work through. Look forward to another Dana Knightstone story. November 21, 2011
Dana Knightstone Novel PLUSES: - great storyline and unexpected ending - setting in Europe, my favorite for a game! - nice graphic, very well drawn - good voice overs although it's just Dana narrates her steps to next level - variety of puzzles and mini-games, some are repeated on different levels MINUSES" - SO MANY puzzles and mini-games! There are very few HOG, which I think I can count with my ten fingers, and mini games like every 5 minutes and consecutive, even 3 times in a row. It is exciting at first but then it gets frustrating and annoying. - Hint recharge very slow - CE bonus very minimal, only bonus gameplay is available - strategy guide not easy to use April 30, 2012
Interesting game I found this game enjoyable in that it was different from other HOs. The graphics are marvelous, the storyline and music are good. The HOs are nice and clear. I found the puzzles a little easy, but there were a few that were more challenging. I have to admit I did get a little tired of the game towards the end and couldn't wait for it to be over. But I did finish and I did enjoy it. Next time I don't think I will play it all at one time. I think it took about 5-5 1/2 hours total which is a good game length. Overall this is a pretty good game for beginners and intermediate players. January 6, 2012
Great Story This is a game with more adventure and puzzles. There are a few HOS but it is all about the story. Great story. Could hardly stop playing. Great graphics, sound, and music. December 19, 2011
This game was great! Looking forward for playing the next one! I thought this game was fun! It kept me interested the whole way. I liked the graphics and sound. The plot was good. I did get confused a couple of times (i.e. did a lot of 'virtual' running from place to place), but it was a really nice game to spend time doing. November 24, 2011
death under the Tuscan Skies:A Dana Knightstone Novel CE I liked this game I would like to see more novels turned into games. November 18, 2011
not a bad game Well lets see. The HOS are different but ok. The puzzles are ok also. Some of the trouble is that you have to be right on the object to pick it up or use it. Seems pretty simple and easy to me with not to much running around. Not much for voice over and the graphic are just ok. The music to me puts me to sleep so have to get rid of it. This is about a 3.5 game to me. May 9, 2013
Love the travelling in England and France!! I enjoyed this game although it took me everso long to complete. But complete it I did.. yahoo!! For some reason it seemed to go on and on and on with no end in sight. An awful lot of forwards and back to retrieve or solve a puzzle but that is part of the game when ppl like me need a SG otherwise I just get lost..lol The storyline was wonderful, the ghostly appearances of characters was the best I have seen and really made the game special. Level of challenge was not exceptional but did put the whole game together. I have to admit I enjoyed Death Under Tuscan Skies a lot more in comparison. I would recommend this game to intermediate or experts and only to novices if they really want to work at finding solutions. June 15, 2012
