fun hidden object game with a few good challenges

Absolutely Loved it!
So far, this has been my most favorite game. great story, great graphics, great puzzles and neat hidden object !
It is a very long game and my son and I enjoyed every single minute of it! :D

Lots of clever Louisiana references
Really fabulous graphics, music, and storyline. The hidden objects require some attention to find, but are not impossible to spot. I appreciated the subtitles and tool tips, and hints, but . . . the puzzles become very redundant. Most of them require moving things around to reveal a picture, or lining them up in order, or changing their colors; I skipped nearly all of them, as I couldn't be bothered after a while. What happened to the logic puzzles that were in Ravenhurst? I haven't actually finished it, because the final puzzle really is just too tedious -- but I did have a great time until then

Ghostly Swamps..
Great game, graphics, music and storyline...didn't regret not getting CE as this was just as entertaining...again another winner with Mystery Case Files :)

Not for me
I really wanted to like this game. The story was OK but it progresses slowly only picking up near its conclusion. The live action was different. I appreciated the effort they went to making the game as real as possible and it was beautifully done. That's the up side. I found the game play very tedious and there were entirely too many HOS. The few puzzles were alright, probably the best part. There was too much walking around to do menial tasks that had nothing to do with the mystery. I found myself Hinting my way through just because I was bored and wanted to get to the end. I looked more forward to the videos than I did the objectives. It deserves more than 3 stars for effort but I could not bring myself to give it 4. Just not for me.
