Stopped playing This is a good game with great graphics but there is no map, no hints, and no Strategy Guide. I am now stuck and trying to figure out what to do next but there's no hint to help. I'm spending all my time going back and forth to places clicking everything over and over again. I unfortunately bought this - wouldn't do it again. May 13, 2013
AWESOME i just love this game keep up the good work April 17, 2013
Macabre & Enjoyable, though maybe a glitch or two Queen of Spades seems like a fairly typical mystery-in-a-spooky-manor game, but stands out for having some surprisingly macabre elements. For example, you keep a heart in a jar and some other body parts in your inventory for a while. I liked the morbid humor, personally, and it did distinguish the plot from other games. The puzzles had a nice variety and the locations and HO scenes looked wonderful. The hint system wasn't so great. I resorted to the walkthrough several times. That's fine with me, that's what it's there for. However the walkthrough did lead me astray at one point... there seems to be a glitch when it comes to a rag in the boat. I picked it up but it vanished from my inventory, which was a problem, when the walkthrough told me I needed the rag to make a torch. Instead, when you take the boat to the other house, there's a torch available when you search around the house exterior. But it did take a visit to the forums to clear that up. The cursed deck of cards seems like an extra, optional side element, but actually you need them to finish the game. That could've been clearer. Even with caveats, I found this game entertaining and I liked the grim, gloomy, darkly funny plot. March 27, 2013
One of the best! I really enjoyed this game. I played it on "expert" and found it stimulating and hard to stop. After playing it nonstop for 2 days, I beat it... but, it was definitely one of the better games I've played on this site. :) March 9, 2013
Lots of fun I enjoyed playing this game because it has lots and lots of fun locations, good quality cut scenes all the way through, do-able puzzles. The HOS are hand painted and therefore are sometimes challenging to solve. I tried to find as many as possible without the hint because there was usually at least one image I couldn't see. Story line good. About 5 hours of play. February 26, 2013
Almost brilliant I have enjoyed all the Haunted Legend series but this did lack just that little something that would have made it great. For starters I found that I had to refer to the walk through considerably more times than I have on any other game. As there is no hint button other than during the HO scenes, this can be a little bit of a pain. Also there is no map, although again, not the end of the world but it would have been helpful. As I say, just little things that would have helped with the enjoyment. Overall though worth playing and a good, if not difficult in places, level of enjoyment. December 16, 2012
Great HO games Really enjoyed this game. Not too much going back and forth and plenty of different scenes. The HO games were challenging and I had to take a hint on occasion. Only negative is that the hint button doesn't tell you what to do next. Be careful to collect all the cards otherwise you won't be able to finish the game. December 6, 2012
Monotonous music The game was fun; puzzles challenging. The music was painfully monotonous and unoriginal. I muted it. December 4, 2012
shouldnt have bought it i should have read the reviews, which would have told me all i needed to know about what i wouldnt like with this... the graphics are good but the story is very macabre, which i find very tiresome since it is such a repetitive theme now. also, i hate not having hints for 'missions' and i did almost completely stop playing through because of it... but id already paid the money and so made very good use of the walk-though. One of the Best Hidden Object Games, you could play. Bought this game today, couldn't stop playing. You looking for a GREAT game,? Definitely pick up this one. I"ll admit I had to use the walkthrough a couple of times, because I didn't know where to go, but Loved, Loved ,Loved this game. I recommend it to anyone. You won't be bored that's for sure.
