Stroke of Midnight - Game of the future!
I totally enjoyed this trial so much I purchased it within the hour of the trial.
This has to be the game of the future with new options in HOS and more, this a must on your list to try.
I previously played a panoramic HOS and I got dizzy but this one is unique and search takes on a new meaning.
The story is about an author needing inspiration for writing a love/romance novel and heads to Eastern Europe to Transylvania. The moment she arrives her novel begins to take shape but not as she expected.
Guys don't be put off by the love/romance part, you certainly don't want to miss out on the whole adventure of how this game is uniquely put together.
For anyone that enjoys HOS and is getting a little bored with the usual or would like to play feeling you are a part of the story line ? you are going to enjoy this game!
It might take a little moment to adjust to the scanning/viewing options (up, down, left & right), but before you know it, you begin to feel a part of the game and go into auto mode and that?s when the game takes you into a whole new dimension.
Been to a 3D movie and the camera is hovering along the floor towards something and you feel like your moving, this game does the same and it is done very well (you will enjoy that)
Options - volume= environment, music, windowed mode not available (I have widescreen)
HOS ? so different!
Hints - no there are no hints as per other HOS games, this one has the option to select the word item you are having trouble finding and it shows you where it is without the hints re-charging.
Voice over is great!
Inventory ? There is none, and this is something else I love about this game. When you find an object within a scene you know it?s not far way to activate it to what is needed. No more running around other scenes so helpful
Novel option - Is available when you have completed the game.
Sound Effects ? Super!
Graphics ? Beautiful, clear, bright and so crisp!
Mini Games ? These are so enjoyable and mirrors assist you with special hints located in the scenes
Click ? It will freeze you if you click too fast
Skip Button ? yes there is an option if you need it
I am putting this on my favourite game this month
I defiantly give this my (((Rawwww))) of approval!

Stunning Graphics and Visuals
PLUS = I was a little worried when downloading the demo that I would have a horrid time with the "panaramic" type view mentioned by reviewers. I had previously tried playing the 360 game series and felt dizzy after a while, so never purchased them. But after trying the demo I immediately bought this game, and loved the "zoom" effect of scanning around the room. I did have to remember that it was a scanable screen when I kept missing items, not used to having to scan up toward the ceiling to find things. Kudos to the developers, this was very innovative! I enjoyed the graphics, I love exploring beautiful rooms and grounds in homes and castles, and the story line kept my interest (although I frowned towards the end, it was like, would you expect giving aspirin to help cure someone who got hit by a car?) But the storyline was inventive, and the ghosts were engaging characters.
MINUS = Because the story was really very linear, I don't know if replay value will be very good

A New Generation of HOG
At first I thought it was a long intro ... but when I started to interact, I realized that the game is like a 3D movie!
You really feel inside!
- Gorgeous graphics and locations;
- Very nice music
- Amazing atmosphere
- Superior Voice Over
Outstanding and Totally Different HOG:
The game is a first-rate story of a writer, and you will solve at each location what is needed with the assistance of a "mirror" - NO HINTS !!
Once ended, you change locations, without having to keep going and coming back - NO INVENTORY !! NO DIARY OR MAP !! So, on the whole screen you only see the "movie", actually a novel.
(I confess I was a little dizzy with the zoom in and out of some scenes)

First experience with panoramic, hesitant at first but now I'm sold!
The only con I have with this game is the small font and lighting causing difficulty seeing smaller items sometimes but love the concept and that it takes you straight to next stage and REALLY LOVE the hideen object area where rather than having to click a Hint button and w-a-i-t-i-n-g for it to recharge.you can click the item in the list and it goes straight to item and no recharge time. I would also do away with prompt, not just on this game but ALL BF GAMES, "questioning" me if I'm sure I want to Skip a puzzle. I wouldn't be clicking the Skip button if I wasn't sure. There wasn't an indication that there might be another game along this design but I sure hope so. A VERY refreshing perspective from the usual. Thank you!!! :-)

affectionately designed Hidden Object Adventure
I loved playing this game because of its great gliding moves in a 3D surrounding. The story is very conclusive, so I was able to solve all riddles without getting stucked. I recommend this game because it is very innovative and brings some hours real fun.

Good game, too short!!
I really enjoyed this game and it's story. That is what hooked me in. Also not your standard HOG. More innovative. Only problem was I solved it to quickly. Got so engrossed in the story, which was well told and well done, that I couldn't stop and finished it all too soon. Without killing the story. They could have added more details to all the characters by taking us into the cemetery. That might have evolved and lengthened the tale. But all in all. Quite enjoyable.

great hidden object game
Finally a different kind of hidden object game. I loved everything about this game. No items carried and panning rooms left to right and up and down. Great story line too!!! Check it out :)

the stroke of midnight
The graphics are wonderful. That's the only good part of this game, in my experience. When you have to click on every little corner to try and figure out what to do next, a game becomes annoying rather than challenging. and when you can SEE what it is you are supposed to do next but the game won't let you do it, then even the daily "deal" price is too much. Work a little harder on the cooperativeness of the game, and get rid of the "talk you to death" aspect, and I might give this game another chance. As it is right now, don't hold your breath.

Wow this is great!
I just finished my FREE 60 min. and just purchased the game. Wow it is really fun. The graphics are nice and I love the moving about. I didnt give it 5 stars because I wish on the puzzles we had a hint button or skip. However I have been able to finish them. I do wish there was a little more explanation on how to get around, or instructions but I am very thankful for the walkthrough. I always want to give a high 5 to all those that do those for us. Thanks.

total frustration
The graphics were out standing. The story line very likeable. My qualm is with the mechanics of the game itself. Frustrated with the fact you have to be pin point accurate when playing, and there were no hints to relieve the frustration factor.
