The Stroke of Midnight
If the demo is short, how long can the game be?
I finished the demo in under 30 minutes which made the free hour of play useless. The interface is a little different and more like a first person perspective but it runs a little sluggishly. No hint button that I could find. Hints in hidden object sections by touching the item you are looking for which i found by accident.
Pretty graphics and interesting interface but a lot of work to navigate.

STORYLINE WAS INTRIGUING
Review based on thirty minutes of actual game play which is about all I could take.
Couldn't see hints, journal, maps, etc., the things I'm accustomed to seeing in a game.
Not a game for me.

the stroke of midnight
The graphics are wonderful. That's the only good part of this game, in my experience. When you have to click on every little corner to try and figure out what to do next, a game becomes annoying rather than challenging. and when you can SEE what it is you are supposed to do next but the game won't let you do it, then even the daily "deal" price is too much. Work a little harder on the cooperativeness of the game, and get rid of the "talk you to death" aspect, and I might give this game another chance. As it is right now, don't hold your breath.

I hated it. the game lead you threw one step at a time with no exploration at all. no tool box style storage.

Hated this game the minute it started, i usually get a feel for a game within seconds and that decides wether i'd like it or not...had to click several times to get an actual object into the place you know it should go, really frustrating at times...deleted this after 10 mins, though i did give it several chances before i deleted, just wasn't for me in the end.
