Charlaine Harris: Dying for Daylight
Left me hangin!!!!!
At first I did not think I was going to like this game. I left it for a few days and went back to it deciding I was just going to bite the bullet and finish it. Then all of a sudden it grew on me!!!! I did end up enjoying the game but it left me hanging. As soon as I was sure it was over (because I couldnt believe it ended like that) I went online to see if/when part 2 was coming out and discovered I wasnt the only one not happy about the ending. Apparently from what I can gather part 2 is not out yet. I hope it is out soon while part 1 is still fresh in my mind.

Loved game, need more
Loved this game and really want the second part to come out. They may be disappointed in sales, but they might have gotten more if they'd not written just half a game story. Loved everything about it except that it left us hanging without any idea if we'll ever hear the end of the story.

Expected more than this, but still it was fun
I first played the demo when the game first came out and got fixated on buying it. I did and it wasn't all I expected. This is the first game I ever bought so I didn't know you can find out how long a game is on forums and I had no Idea i was a chapter away from finishing it in the demo. But on the plus side it leaves you wanting more and more, the characters and story are super, visual and sound quality are fantastic and you can have a blast for the short while it lasts.

Dying for Part Two
I'm a fan of Charlaine Harris and it was a blast to play a game created to be like one of her books. The story is interesting and Dahlia's snarky comebacks are a nice touch. I like how the movement from location to location is handled. And the fact that if you do get stuck, hints are available.
The only drawback is that the game is too short and only covers the first half of the story.

I am an avid fan of Charlaine Harris, so this game was simply wonderful for me. I did, however, get a little upset that this was only part one of a two game series. Ugh! Please hurry with game two!!!

Am looking for a walkthrough for episode 5 and later for Charlaine harris, dying for daylight. I have dahlia dressed in disguise but can't see where to go next. I earlier found tattoos but no longer have access to them HELP

OFF BEAT VAMPIRE GAME
Good graphics and an interesting storyline.
Loved the country music at the start.
The main character has a very dry/sarcastic sense of humour with some witty comments.
Puzzles challening but not impossible to solve.
Some of the objects in the HOS are a bit small but hints are useful.
Interaction with characters is good especially seeing the dialogue is spoken (not so much reading in this one).
Overall a fun and different twist on vampire games.

where's the ending?
Loved the storyline and her sassy attitude but disappointed that the game ends without resolution. I hadn't known the story was unfinished and didn't read the reviews first. If I had, I probably wouldn't have bothered.
Fun game but disappointed on how it ended.
I'm not recommending this game only for that reason.

All Around Fun
The character that you play is a fun sassy vampire. She is looking for a potion that allows vampires to be in the sunlight. Along the way she meets some pretty interesting characters. I'd recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun causal game with a little challenge. Newbies to the HO scene will enjoy this game.

Best conversations in a game!
Dying For Daylight must have the best conversations and sassiest, funniest heroine of all the dozens of games I have played - too many of these morph into each other in my memory but this is outstanding and unforgettable.
Don't skip the conversations: they are witty and happily cynical. The game credits Charlaine Harris, creator of the Sookie Stackhouse vampire stories, in the title: it would be no surprise to learn that a bestselling novelist did indeed script these conversations.
The opening song is great and the singing pigs are a joy.
There were technical irritations such as interactions not working in a scene unless a separate scene is completed, including a few conversations having to be repeated before the inventory tool would interact. If it were not for these, I would have have given this 5 stars.
I was disappointed that the 'ending' was a statement that we were only halfway through the adventure and had to wait for another game to be developed! But I do look forward to that second instalment... WHEN IS IT DUE????
