Not Great
Some objects in the HOG's were miss-named so I found myself looking and looking only to find the object either by accident or breaking down and using the "hint" button. The graphics are okay, could be clearer and some of the games were very frustrating because you really had no clue to how to do them. There wasn't a map, and if you found something ahead of when you were supposed to find it, you couldn't get it. One example is after managing to find a key, the object to open another object and finding one object that I needed I couldn't get it and had to go hunt for other things before collecting the item. I found the game overall, rather frustrating.

Very good game except..........
I was thoroughly enjoying this game when to my annoyance the underground train scene slowed right down. It was probably a glitch in my computer operation as I did not see that any other reviewers had a similar problem. The next scene was o.k. and then as I progressed further another couple of scenes went the same way. It was all right at the end. Other than that it was akin to a couple of other 'Puppet show" games in the series ---- very well done. The plot evolves around the fact that an entire town is excited about the discovery of a new cave system when a young girl is taken by a mechanical beast who leaves a cave-in behind him as he escapes with the girl and heads deeper into the labyrinth. The dialogue is adequate and the diary is helpful when it appears. The graphics are clear and defined and the music is pleasant and easy on the ear. The puzzles, on the whole, need a bit of nutting out and are quite challenging. Most of the hidden object are well hidden and require some close attention. A great Collectors Edition game again and I would have given if more stars if it had not been for the small hiccup during play but maybe I should not blame B.F. for this.

PuppetShow; Lost Town CE
I enjoyed this game. The graphics and such are excellent. I had no software problems. I play with Mac 10.6.8. The one 'glitch' I thought I had in bonus section ended up to be a cleverly hidden item. Some things were nearly too clever for me to figure out. I was upset after all my 'work' the villain got away but that makes me wait next installment.

So Fun!
I have enjoyed all of the Puppet Show games! Each one had good quality in art and in creepiness. The music is fantastic, the puzzles were challenging and the storyline is very good. I'm itching to play the sequel. The ending of the last one left me wanting more and I hope to see another one soon!

Extremely Annoyed and Disappointed
Very, very annoyed with this game. There was a strategy guide which I DESPERATELY needed) included, but it could only be used in the full version and there is no way I'm spending 15 dollars just to get it!
Good Parts:
Excellent graphics. Very detailed, modern, unique graphics that match the theme of the game.
A great storyline with some great voice-overs
OK Parts:
A tutorial is added, but is very short and of no help to me at all
Bad Parts:
You had absolutely no idea what to do after the tutorial finished.
There was a built in strategy guide advertised, and featured in the game, but what was not featured was you had to BUY the game to get it! After I found this out I quit straight away.
For those of you who are brave enough to buy this game, it's at your own risk. Prsonally, I don't think it's worth buying the game just for the strategy guide.

Not as good as previous Puppetshow game(s)
This particular one in series was not as good as previous ones in the series.
The game seemed more boring than fun.
Graphics were not so great; they seemed somewhat blurry in many scenes.
I wish there was a map. I got tired of having to go back and forth to different areas. There is no hint button in game itself; the hint button only shows up in HOS. So if you wanted to use hint to find out where you needed to go next, this game does not provide that. You have to backtrack until you find yourself what you needed to go and what to do, which is time consuming.
HOS were fun at first, but as you got farther into the game, the HOS became harder and seemed like there was too many. Most HOS were done twice; most that were done twice you would leave area and then go back to that same area later. Some you had to do a second time as soon as you finished it the first time. There were quite a few objects that werent really what they were in the list. Example: Safety Pin was actually more like a needle/pin that you use in sewing, not the normal safety pin we see everyday.
Puzzles were ranged from easy to challenging. If you wish to skip, the skip button fills up pretty quickly.
Bonus play was not the best either; the ending of the bonus play was lame.
I like HOG with adventure. I do not like supposed adventure games that have too many HOS and too much backtracking, which is what this game is.
I recommend this game to those who love HOS (challenging ones). I do not recommend this for those you only want a few HOS and more adventure.
I also would recommend this one if you wish to continue the Puppetshow series (know what happens after the first ones).
