This Frog Turns Out To Be A Prince!
If you love fragmented object games you will love this game. If you hate fragmented object games you might love this game anyway. I did. The graphics and story line of the Exiled Prince more than make up for the tedium of clicking your way through one scene after another, searching for bits and pieces of essential objects. My strategy was to click away on anything that looked shiny, unrelated or incomplete and with the exception of the last piece or two I flew through the hunt and peck scenes. As for the rest of the game, I took my time and enjoyed every juicy morsel. The artwork is fantastic, the music and sound effects are terrific, and there are well voiced, animated scenes to add to the action. In addition to collecting and earning inventory items for puzzles and tasks, there are morphing objects scattered along the way. A map and task list is available to show live areas of interest and the hint systems are straightforward and helpful. This is a classy, well developed game with high production values. I had a great time and I hope you do too.

A Beautiful, Decent Game
The 'Dark Parables' series are a must-play for anyone interested in the genre: they deliver a unique, challenging experience with absolutely stunning graphics and detail.
'The Exiled Prince' is a dark and beautiful adventure, with an interesting take on an old story as its backbone. It is decently entertaining, and exquisite to look at. My only complaints are in the development of the plot and the hidden object scenes: mainly, the plot is a little disjointed, lacking well thought out chronology, and the hidden object instances are a tad too easy; you can literally zip your mouse around, clicking on everything that seems as if it doesn't quite belong.
I enjoyed this game and am happy to have played it in full, though I would not consider it one of my favourites.

Fantastic game!!
Mesmerising screen shots coupled with a fantastic twist to a well known story! Exciting and fun to play without being too complicated. Only downside is that the map can be a little confusing but that's all part of the challenge! You'll be hooked!

Intricate and Well Designed
Beautiful graphics, and great ambient sound.
Hidden object scenes weren't the usual variety: You are looking for *pieces* that come together to make the object, rather than looking for a particular object in a jumbled mess. With that said, they were not overly difficult to find.
The hidden object scenes were, to me, anyway, back-filler for the main portion of the game. The real focus was collecting different things, figuring out how to access certain parts of the palace/room/etc.
Difficulty level wasn't as high as others, but that wasn't a minus for me today.
Game length is more than fair for the price.
There is also a map available to show you where to find hidden object scenes, where you currently are, and where some clues might be found.
Look for the phantom shifting objects everywhere you go. They will make your hint button recharge faster.

Blue Does It Again
I bought this game and I LOVE it! The graphics are STELLAR! The designers at Blue Tea really pride themselves on creating visually stunning games. For me, all the aspects that make up the game are excellent. The plot engrossing and the mini games are very challenging. Perhaps the only problem I have with the game is the map isn't interactive, you can't use it to jump from one scene to the next. But, then again, the graphics are SO wonderful that I feel bad about complaining about such a thing!
If you buy this game, you will more than get you money's worth!

Just as awsome as the first!
When I stumbled upon the first game in this series I was excited to learn there was a sequel. I have to admit, it took me awhile to get used to this style of HOG which is really a FROG (fragmented hidden object game) but don't let that put you off.
The graphics are beautiful, music is good and game play is fun.

Fun
I love these types of games. Good amount of puzzle and hidden object games.

Difficult to get around in.
As you need to travel from one section to another throughout the game you can easily get lost. The map doesn't help much as the areas aren't marked on it & neither are the rooms titled as you enter one after another.

Borderline to boredom
A bit better than the other two in the series, but totally unchallenging.
A very nice package with very little contents: great graphics, good music, professional voice-overs.
But... puzzles far too easy, too many Hidden Fragmented Objects Scenes, tasks similar to those you find in other games, low suspense, no challenge.
3 stars for the wrapping.
