I'm in hoggy... oops! froggy heaven.
The first time I tried this game in trail version I did not feel comfortable with the HO so I waited for a sale to buy because I liked everything else about the game.
I am just so happy I bought this game I love,love, love it.
The game play is long with a great story line, characters, HO's and puzzles and it is beautifully designed. I actually started out just wanting to play for about an hour but I was snookered into the game and just had to play the whole thing ( regular mode) to the end and low and behold, I ended up continuing playing in hard mode. This is one satisfying game to play. I just love it, such a happy camper I am.
The only thing I kind of missed is the interaction with the froggies, mousies and other critters. I am the type who likes to hear squeaks, croaks and other things when I prod, okay, okay, egg them on to see what they do.
Anyway I love this game so much that I also bought the Snow Queen.
Gads yes, I recommend this game as you get your bang for your buck.

Wonderful Game!
This was the first of the series i had tried... and cant say enough about how good the graphics and storyline both were! The puzzles were just challenging enough and a nice variety. I highly enjoyed it and recommend this and the previous game of the series Briar Rose.

Not For Me
I was prepared to like this game, and it started out ok, not too dark, graphics were good, but as I got in it longer (I did the demo) it had things about it that I didn't like. First, no map, and having an interactive map decides whether I buy a game or not, unless the traveling back and forth is just in a small area. In this game I found myself wandering around a lot, in the darker scenes, not knowing where to go or what to do. The hints weren't good, and what I didn't really like was the fact that when you used a hint for instructions of where to go next the hint emptied out and you had to wait until it loaded again. A lot of games don't empty the hint when you're just wanting to know where to go next. And worse yet, if you skipped a mini game you were penalized by the hint not reloading for five minutes, or more! At one point it was fifteen minutes! That did it for me. I won't be buying this game. I want a game that I can enjoy, not one that's frustrating.

My favorite Parable
The Dark Parables series are a ton of fun for my 5-year-old son and I to play together, and we especially enjoyed the story of the Exiled Prince. There is a nice spooky fairytale atmosphere that isn't too much for my son, but also isn't boring or cheesy for me. The challenge level, graphics, and soundtrack are all very good. The game does not at any point become tedious, as many HOGs do.

Breathtaking Graphics
After trying many games and figuring out what I do and don't like, I started compiling a list of favorites and finding out who made those. I had read nice things about Blue Tea before I tried their games, and I wasn't disappointed a bit in the level of quality.
What charmed me about this game is not only the stunning images, but also the clever storyline, which integrates characters from different fairy tales. I had no idea that... Nevermind, I won't spoil it for you. :-)
The soundtrack was also lovely and provided a fitting backdrop to a fairy tale with an air of mystery, not annoyingly chipper some other "fairy music". After enjoying this game so much, I put Blue Tea at the top of my "game developers to watch" list.

Really enjoyed this one
The hidden object scenes were cleverly crafted and the puzzles not too hard to enjoy. This was not as repetitive as some, though there was a little bit of doubling back.
Beautiful art/graphics. Unlocked the "hard" mode and will play it a little later on.

too repetitious
Apparently all of the Disney princesses were married to the same guy, who turns into a frog between wives. That's got to be a bummer.
This is a game where there are lots of rooms and fragmented objects to find. I'm not really a fan of hidden object games but those seem to be the ones I choose on Big Fish. Since I have to play HOGs I would rather play FROGs. At least the fragments form something that has to do with the game instead of vanishing into nothing like most hidden objects.
This game takes it over the top, though. You have to travel back to the same rooms again and again. I like to play without using the maps and books but you MUST use the map in this one because you keep opening up new HOG places and the map is about the only way you can find them or even know they are there. I find this really tedious.
There are also supposed to be phantom objects: objects that change appearance. I am almost through with the game and I have only found half of them. Either my eyes are really bad or the objects are not showing themselves.
For those of you who like HOG's you will have fun.

Frustrating game
This is a long and complicated game that has one running back and forth way too much. Most all the objects needed in the game are assembled from little-bitty pieces found in HOS. I found them hard to find - the picture doesn't always match the object. There is a map with some hints, but it is somewhat confusing at times, well, most of the time. Some objects are easy to miss - an oar in a princesses bedroom! There are morphing objects that aren't obvious, but they subtract time from the hint button charging time - dumb. Really dumb is if you skip a puzzle, you get penalized 5 minutes on the hint button. I had the use the walk-through to get through this one. It is a well-crafted game, but very frustrating in my opinion.

Beautiful graphics,too many fragmented hidden objects
While this game had beautiful graphics,the fragmented hidden objects in practically every other scene were annoying. To top it off ,the objects were so tiny and many blended in to the background so much,that I had to just click randomly all over and use the hint button quite a bit. It is a long game,and would have great entertainment except for the HO scenes that you could not skip. Another thing I didn't like was that there was no hint available when you were on a location and you weren't sure where you needed to go next or what you needed to do. The minigames were easy though. I am glad I only paid 2.99 for it!

Well-rounded game
I really enjoyed this game! The story line was very interesting, the game was really pretty, the sound quality was great, and the game itself was challenging. The random mystery objects in the scenes and the interactive map were great add-ons to the game which made the game itself more enjoyable. Definitely a great buy and Collector's Edition is definitely the way to go with this game.
