Worth Every Penny! BFG offered me this game, at a nice discount. So I thought, Why not?! I'm very pleased that I purchased this. I have to say, 99% of all the games I play, I've turned the music off, but in this one, I didn't. This was another nice high-end HOG, with gorgeous visual quality and effects, creepy characters and scenery. You could easily follow along with the plot to the very end. The challenge is good, and you can have the option of skipping if you get stuck. One extra bonus, before you start the game, you can choose normal or expert mode! I chose normal, so perhaps, it's a great deal harder for expert mode. There's also relax mode. This was full of mystery solving, mini-game puzzles, and very nice hidden object scenes. You do have to go back and forth a bit, but that seems to be the norm in most of these types of games. It seemed to last for a descent amount of time. December 20, 2011
Okay HO game! I got this game because it was on sale for $1.99, which is a great price for a HOG! The puzzles are challenging and the graphics are great. The storyline is slow and lacking for my taste. This would be a great game for a beginner though! There are 2 modes of game play to choose from and the music is good! I would certainly recommend this game for someone who wants an inexpensive game to just pass some time! December 20, 2011
Beautiful good game! This game has beautiful graphics, and the sound is well done and relevant, but a bit obtrusive at times. It's not a particularly difficult game, challenge wise, which I really like! The HOS are done well, with HOs not too small to find relatively easily. The puzzles are pretty easy, which I also really like. (It's supposed to be fun, not aggravating!) I did not get lost at all during the demo, and I did not need to use the Hint at all. Finished the demo with 20+ mins to spare. The story line is intriguing, and had me hooked from the start! Definitely buying this game, especially at today's price!! Thank you Big Fish for giving us this game today for $1.99!! So worth it, and much more!! December 19, 2011
Good plot, atmospheric I don't understand why people thought this game was too short - I was amazed at how long it was! It was very creepy and atmospheric and the plot, for this type of game, was compelling and more or less internally consistent. It certainly kept me interested until the end. I suspect there will be a sequel and I will be first in line. I am more an adventure game person than a HOG person but the HOG scenes were not annoying and the puzzles were clever. The music was not annoying and fit the plot. January 21, 2012
Music to my ears and eyes Wonderfule graphics which takes through a picturesque town filled with hidden secrets. I love to be transported in time and experience something different. The Hiddent Object Scene are a lot fun and not too difficult as well you are challenged just enough for the different tasks you need to discover and accomplish. If I would have just a small complaint although the music is very beautiful it gets a bit to you after a while however it does not take away from anything. Love Love this game and I am also looking forward to the next one coming soon I hope :-) December 19, 2011
EXCELLENT DETAIL! CHALLENGE JUST RIGHT! Comparable to the Puppet Town games which I do enjoy! No stressful timer and can select level of difficulty. Rich colors and detailed artwork helps exploring as well as finding objects fun and interesting. Enjoy! December 19, 2011
Excellent game This was a brilliant game - lots of puzzles and made you think without getting frustrated. I reccommend it. Took me about 4-5 hours to complete and I am quite a competent player. December 19, 2011
Good HO game for beginners This is really not a bad game. The developers turn out pretty decent games and this is no exception. On the plus side there is a lovely French period setting, coupled with an interesting storyline with crisp quality graphics, music and some nice effects. There are tons of hidden object games for enthusiasts, and some puzzles. The game is also on the long side, which gives you value for money. However even though I played it on the hard level, I found this game way too easy. There are endless hidden object scenes which help you find items, but the puzzles are on the easy side and not really challenging, except one with circles near the end which was actually pretty hard. It is however a game that many will like, especially those who prefer less of a challenge. December 26, 2012
Music of Death Although this is not the most challenging hidden object adventure game I have played lately, Maestro: Music of Death hit all the right notes. The artwork and music are beautiful and the animated scenes are very well done. An advanced player might find the game too easy but I enjoyed feeling smart for once! I was able to find almost every hidden object in every scene. A few objects required an extra step and it was fun watching the little interactions unfold. Most hidden object scenes are visited twice and inventory objects get used near the locations where they were collected. The game moves steadily forward although you can go back and revisit scenes as often as you like. There is a lot to explore so don't get lost! I am off to play the next chapter in this terrifc story. Game on! March 10, 2012
I Enjoyed Maestro:Muisc of Death This was an enjoyable game. There are two modes of play: Relaxed and Expert The scenes are beautifully rendered and hidden objects challenging enough for me (I'm legally blind so a magnifier helps ^_^) The puzzles are moderately difficult and can be skipped (I skipped one) The music is fine for a short time but can be turned down if it gets too annoying and the storyline is easy to follow. Overall a good game. February 3, 2012
