Art of Murder the Secret Files This game is terrible. It is a very short game. If you get to the gears to get into the well and you get the gears in the wrong place, boy have fun trying to figure out how to fix it. Then you are almost finished. I cannot beleive that I paid for this STUPID game and it was that short. UGH> I do not recommend this for anyone. October 8, 2012
I didn't even want to finish the free trial It's hard to believe this is the same developer. So lame. June 9, 2012
Art of murder: secret files challenging fun game turns to pot and point and click hidden object with no challenge. Very boring and annoying. January 17, 2013
Way to go, ruining a great series! This game is absolutely awful. The hidden object scenes are either too dark, too jumbled (NOW I understand my fellow HOG gamers who complain about junk pile hidden object scenes), the hidden object list is itself too obscured (yes, there are scenes where you cannot see a single thing in the hidden object list because they are completely shadowed! And you are constantly penalized for misclicks.), or you are given just ridiculously too little time to complete a hidden object scene. If you are a fan of the Art of Murder series, do not expect this game to be ANYTHING like the others in the series. Really, what were the developers thinking trying to slap the Art of Murder title on this fiasco? The fun factor was ZERO! By the time I reached the medical examiners' office - which is very early in the game - I was, frankly, furious with the poor quality of graphics, visual and sound, and level of challenge. If it were possible, I would have given this game NEGATIVE STARS!!! Oh, and as someone who spent 20 some years in the Protective Services, the utter incompetence of the characters would have seen them with a big boot to the rear out the door, don't even THINK of trying to obtain a pension, we can't see your backside soon enough, firing.
