Gave Me the Shivers
I tried the demo of thie game and HAD to buy it. Shiver: Vanishing Hitchhiker is a very suspenseful game that I just had to see through to the end. I only wish I'd opted to get the collector's edition for the bonus ending.

Wonderful
It was awesome - I really liked the shadowy, somber feel to the game. What I didn't like is that I ended. But, overall, a really great game. :)

Great game!
The only problem with this game is that I had trouble stopping at bedtime. The story is good and creepy. The graphics are well-done. The puzzles and HO scenes are challenging while not being too much so. Just a very enjoyable game.

Shiver: Vanishing Hitchhiker
In the last 4 weeks I have purchased over 12 games. This one, in my opinion is the best by far. The story is easy to follow, the graphics are awesome. The music is not overbearing. As you go through this game the rain gives it a feeling of reality. The scenes look so real, you would swear this town really exsists. I love this game, and will play it over and over.

It's been a long while since I enjoyed a game this much. Very creepy, great puzzles, good time!

Worth your patience...
Shiver was well worth getting stumped a few times in order to complete. Dreary overcast atmosphere is highly appropriate, but there were a few times - esp in the hospital that I expected something a bit more scary (or gruesome, either would have worked). However, I did enjoy the cliffhanger ending - setting up for a possible sequel.

Shiver - a good title for this haunting game
Combine the adventure provided by a good story line, add the sometimes challenging hidden object searches (with a good hint system), add some moderately challenging but not impossible puzzles, throw in a lot of moving back and forth between scenes, and top it all off with a chilling fear factor enhanced by haunting music, and you have this great game. Some mighty find the story and the graphics a little too intense and might be offended by the occult themes. But it is certainly less graphic than some games, and the story engrossing and adequately chilling for my taste. And the very end of the game left me with - as the game title suggests - a shiver!

Brilliant!
This is a really good game. The graphics and sound are both very good and the storyline is really interesting. It has a haunting atmosphere which adds to the enjoyment of the game. I liked the fact that is combines both hidden object scenes with adventuring and puzzles. It is a farily good length too, I completed it in about 6 hours.

From real-ism to real-bore
This game starts out as a realistic what's going on-story and soon turns into a really poor blah-blah thing about unresting souls and the need to help dead people find peace. Far too many hidden object scenes are easy ways for the game makers to introduce objects to push the story on, but when the player all the time has to relay on finding solutions in garbage heaps the interest goes to the bottom and the bore factor to high heavens. The frequent sound of a train is a strange idea in a uninhabitated, dilapidated village far from civilisation. The story is so idiotic that I used the help option just to get to the silly ending. I look forward to a good book!

Excellent Game
I was truly amazed at the quality of this game. Although a little disjointed at first, it developed into a great experience. A delight to play.
