awesome
was NOT prdictable at all!! made it hard for me to get off the computer and go cook dinner, will be looking for more like this, kinda made you have to think and remember plus it was nice and long!!

Fun game
This is a fairly short but well done game. The story is interesting with a twist at the end. The artwork is good, but some of the HOS have some difficult-to-find objects. The extra effort required for some objects in the HOS are well thought out. There isn't a map and the hints are not super informative, but there isn't a lot of running back and forth either, so it's fairly easy to figure out what to do. The voice overs are good with moving lips. All in all, it's just an enjoyable game.

Delightful
Found myself smiling a lot and laughing out loud a few times at the little twists in the HO scenes and the interesting puzzles. Great story, wonderful characters and VOS. Most of the HOS were clear, but a few were hazy and hard to see. The cursor was a bit slow and clunky. Otherwise, a really enjoyable game. My time: 6 hours casual.

Great game - until the ending
I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game - it was just challenging enough but not frustrating. The puzzles were quick to figure out and the instructions were clear. Beautiful graphics, clear hidden object scenes. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the ending. It was abrupt and lame in the extreme!

Love those Russians!
Amber Maiden is everything a game should be: beautiful scenes to look at; puzzles that are vibrant and challenging without being impossible; truly wonderful story line with surprise kicker, and unique aspects not seen before. I'd like to know what other games these creators have out there!

A long fairytale!
Not excellant on this one, just Good. The Hog scenes were very dark and dull and the objects were kinda muffled. All in all just a long fairytale. Alot of bang for the buck though.

Reservations
There is something about this game I do not love but have not worked out the reason yet. The graphics are OK although the HOS are a bit crowded and the definition is not the best but they are do-able. The music is soothing with a nice slow relaxing pace - I hate it it when it is "urgent" rushing you on for no good reason. If you can accept the theory of a curse then the story is believable too. I did find the last action one performs is in my opinion a cheap way out. The mini puzzles are about the right level of difficulty for my taste. So what is not to love? It comes down to the missing X factor that is there for me in the Dark Parable series and others and not in this. So four stars instead of five!

Pleasantly Surprised - Fun Game!
I bought this game blindly, without benefit of a review or recommendation, but because I liked the description and preview screen shots. I was very pleased that it turned out to be so much fun and interesting. It is a game I will go back and play again from the start, and if I were you, I would buy it now for the Daily Deal price. Totally worth it!
