A little harder than I expected Ihave yet to finish the game as it is more challenging than I am use to. It takes me awhile on these games that require alot of backtracking and i get disengaged inthe whole thing and quit...maybe when I am retired I will have more patience! lol December 10, 2011
Dreamland PERFECTION.Number 1 game.Dreamland extended version has it all!Great Graphics, super sountrack.involving story that keeps you interested and Dazzled from the beginning to the end.Absolute Thrilling!I Love it. January 4, 2012
Very good! If I buy a game like this, I must of really liked the demo - and I did and the full game delivered too! It was piles of fun. I found it very easy to navigate and while there was a lot to remember (and I did, like some others, need to use the walk through for this reason also at some parts) it also provided some very challenging but work-out-able (new word, yeah) puzzles. Overall it had great graphics, a good story with a good ending. And what I liked about this one especially was that it wasn't too 'far out there' to not make sense. January 11, 2012
Great, imaginative game.... Dreamland is a fun adventure H0G with lots to do, interesting, theme-park oriented locations with an integrated connecting plot. Also to it's benefit, the graphics were great and provided overall good SFX (the only voice over, the game's antagonist, was a bit on the overdone side tho, IMO, lol). A true spooky/scary factor theme ran throughout, yet, without overt occult which was an excellent plus. A slight learning curve in the beginning makes up for in the end as it offers more challenging and diverse gameplay. I enjoyed it once I got under way and became more immersed in the multi-level goals, for which there are awards for in the end. December 30, 2011
Dreamland is more like a Nightmare I really hate to give a negative review because the title & theme seemed so promising. I especially like carnival, themepark, halloween type games, but definitely not this one. The sounds were good, the locations plenty and it set up to be a good game by having a diary, task list, interactive map and spooky themed elements, but that's where the positives end. Here's the problem: almost every time you click, there is another HOG scene. Worse, the graphics within each scene are horrible, muted, blurred and severely cluttered. In addition, you get punished for missed clicks and the Hint button takes a very long time to recharge. Every scene in the game is so horribly rendered, you need the Sparkles to find the interactive items. Inexcusable. Either this is a very old game or it's been sitting around a while & got a late release because I've literally seen better graphics back in the late 90's and I'm not exaggerating. INEXCUSABLE! Different with lots scenes with easy accessability I liked the map where I could jump around to each scene, had lots of variety and not the usual ho hum puzzles. I liked the creepy circus. Had a nice balance of HO piles and HO adventure items to find, I hate it when it's pile after pile. April 30, 2012
Amusing and Creepy Fun HO game. Eerie circus atmosphere. One problem: Didn't know until game was over and I opened awards page that I was supposed to look for starfish throughout game. Other than that, it was a lot of fun. Interesting minigames. Graphics were great. March 12, 2012
Glad I tried this one! This game turned out to be a pleasant surprise! I have passed over it a few times and finally decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did! Good Storyline, nice graphics and good challenge. February 12, 2012
excellent game I thoroughly enjoyed this game hope for more January 3, 2012
don't bother with the negative reviews of this game! okay, I admit, this game may not be for everyone, but I LOVED IT! it's spooky, a little creepy and kinda challenging, but I'd rather work at a game then breeze right thru it. yes, i admit, there are A LOT of hidden object scenes, but that's okay with me. i loved the idea of having to "earn tickets for various rides/attractions" and playing the various attractions was a blast, I mean who doesn't like a shooting gallery? yes, you get stuck figuring out what to do next every now and then, but then the hint button will take you to at least the scene you are supposed to be in, so all is well. if you want to actually use your brain for a few hours and have a very spooky fun carnival like atmosphere, buy this game you won't be sorry!
