Love this game, play it a lot! (I'm a leftie, and I hate that this game switches my mouse buttons back, but it's a small annoyance.) I enjoy this game a lot! This trip (3rd? 4th? through the game?), I'm trying to match-up every single 'tile' in the whole maze... makes getting to the end much slower, but it's fun too! I don't care for the 'racing scarabs' levels, but it's because of the reversed mouse buttons and that I can't see which way the 'track' goes except by watching the other scarabs. Still, I usually come in 1st or 2nd. Really enjoy it! (I'm 58 and female -- this is just the kind of casual gaming designed for my demographic!) February 18, 2014
Can you get through the maze and collect the artifacts? This game is so NEW and EXCITING and FRESH and INNOVATIVE! I can't say enough about it. The graphics are great! Every little strand of the spider's web is visible....even the little "knots" between lines. The music is Arabic, which was appropriate to the storyline. I was disheartened that there were no voice overs or even a narrator but that everything had to be read. This is a new take on an old favorite of mine ... a Match 3 game. You have to get from Point "A" to Point "Z" by making matches of 3 or more like items. But, your character will only move/walk on golden tiles. So, make sure the path leading to your "Points" are always golden. You can also earn bonuses (which you will REALLY need) by collecting treasure chests along the way. Of course, these chests will be outside the path you would normally take.... DETOUR! lol. The path of the game starts by clicking on a "temple". Once inside, you click on "rooms" and that's where the fun is! There is also a bonus game where you race your "scarab" against 6 others. This takes a lot of dexterity so imagine my surprise when I won first place in my 2nd race! GO ME! If you win, you get another bonus. Hold on to your bonuses until the end of your "temple" run where the "big boss" is. You will have to beat Mr. McShady to the exit or you have to replay the level. And nothing stands in McShady's way as it stands in yours! I LOVED this game but took 1 star away because of no voice overs/narrator and the difficulty I had beating McShady at the end of each "temple" level. Otherwise, it's a big 4 3/4 stars for me. Unfortunately, even though I LOVED this game, because of the reasons stated above, it won't be a purchase for me. The stress of beating another character to the exit isn't fun for me. I like my match 3 games to be more relaxing. I do, however, recommend it for everyone of all ages. It is fun, fresh and entertaining! Enjoy! November 2, 2014
Hate hitting bonuses When you are playing the game and trying to go fast you can hit bonuses when you don't want to use them. If you don't notice you use the bonus. I hate a game that is made like that. When the exit button is at the top of a game and you exit the game it is a game that was made and not played enough by the author. Dmg November 18, 2011
Jewels of Cleopatra The jewels are bright and varied. However, each building is basically the same. You can map out a course to treasures which are the powerups, and then to the entrance to the tomb. There are bugs, snakes and a mummy. I really did not care for the scarab races. The puzzles at the end of each building have a timer, and you cannot skip either the race or the puzzle. August 1, 2014
