Fun Hidden Object Game
All the Ravenhearst games are fun, the only reason I only gave 3 stars on the visual and sound is because this is an older game and the graphics do not look as nice on the new larger screens. I recommend this game to people who have smaller screens.

An Eerie Romance
This game had me fixed to the computer for hours! It was so spooky and so exciting. The puzzles are hard but with some reasoning, solvable. I loved the background sounds, the music and the graphics too. I keep checking if Mystery case File has released yet another lovely game for me to play on my computer. I have all eight of them (the computer games) but hope for more. You never get tired of them!

Bad Start of a Great
There must be something about this game I'm missing; contrary to almost everyone else who has reviewed this game, I did not enjoy this game AT ALL.
I thought the graphics were some of the worst I'd ever seen in a game. It was just too dark and it looked like an antiques shop had regurgitated all over each scene. The plot (what there was of it) was uninteresting. And the puzzles that had to be solved to access each room were more aggravating than challenging. Needless to say, I didn't even finish the trial.
I usually agree with most of my fellow users; in this case, we are on opposite poles. For those who haven't played the game, I say play it and decide for yourself.

Waste of money
I found this game to be tedious, hard on the eyes and downright boring. I thought it was adventure/hog, but it turned out to be all hog with a few dreary puzzles thrown in. Not my cup of tea at all. Is there any way I can get a credit for this awful game?

For the Beginner
I recently purchased this game because I was intrigued by the description of Escape from Ravenhearst and thought I'd better start with the first one so I would know the storyline. My last MCF game was Dire Grove - a lot of fun to play.
But I was bored to tears by this one; I guess I'm now used to a much more complicated game. I'm not sure about the storyline - many reviewers think it's good but I haven't the desire to play 'til the end to find out. I should have played the free game first before purchasing; live and learn!

This game was awful!
I have to agree with my fellow gamers who did not like this one. Too many repeat HO games with horrible graphics. I guess I have been spoiled with the new adventure/HO games out now, because this one was a snooze..

Interesting storyline
As far as the entire game goes, I got the sequel, just because I liked the first one so much. At first, I wasn't really impressed, but the longer I played, the more I found myself trying to find all the clues needed to see what happened to Emma. I knew she was dead, of course, but I wanted to know how. This game actually gave me a bit of a run for my money, simply because sometimes you could have a clue staring you right in the face, larger than life, and other times, that same clue could be tiny. Kept me constantly on my toes, which a game hasn't done in a while.

Boring
After playing Dire Grove, and liking this game i wanted to play another Mistery Case file. I came by a serie of Ravenhearst games, so I thought why not start with the first one. The images looked promising.
I shouldn't! As dire grove is a combination of different puzzles and adventure this is just a search and find game. This shoudn't be to bad but the items are just to hard to find so the game gets boring extremely fast. For people who want to be challenged to find things I would say, buy it, for people who just play for fun and relexation, don't bother with this one.
