First one was better.
Perhaps part of the reason I dislike this one is my arachnophobia. Otherwise though, it seemed like a lot of "one tiny item in this room! Another one way over here!". Still..it's not awful or anything. The first one was more cheerful and to my liking.

Not very challenging
Nice graphics, but I found most of the challenges too easy and I played the difficult level. One of them was solved with a single click. Game was okay. At least I got it on sale.

Disappointingly Mechanical
I expected lush scenes and a romantic story line. Instead I found myself having to assemble many machines. I found the emphasis on mechanical assembly to be very boring.

I LOVED THIS GAME
I am not that skilled of a gamer yet so this one is perfect for my taste, I like doing the hidden object areas, there are nice outdoor scenes and inside is well designed also. When my hour was up I said .....NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO think I will buy this one, it is on sale too. I like the Love Chronicles stories and designs. Try it out

A Terrific Game!
This game was a perfect mix. Lots of really good games,
not excessive with the HOS, most of which were reasonably
clear. There was no map which I usually like, but in this game it added a little more challenge. The hint button recharged fairly quickly and could be used during the game,
directing you to a room where something needed to be done.
It was only a picture of the room so you had to remember where it was or move around some until you stumbled onto it..lol
A game I will be able to play again.

Not like the first
I really like the first game because of how different it was from all the other HOG. This game, however, is so much like regular HOG, and that is disappointing. It is still fun, but I would have preferred it stick to the way the first one was

GOOD ADVENTURE
Mostly an adventure game. Wasn?t as exciting as I thought it would be, but still a very good game. Options include regular or expert mode and choosing snow ? don?t know what snow is supposed to do, but there is no difference with my screen whether or not I?ve opted for snow. You have a device for assembling interesting-looking inventions to use after collecting its components. Collect 33 rose petals ? rose glows whenever there are petals in the location; rose also unfreezes water. You?ll also need them for the end of the game.
Storyline flowed smoothly and didn?t rely on HOS and puzzles to fill gaps. Instructions for the interesting mix of puzzles weren?t always that informative ? were along the lines of ?put things in order.? Some puzzles made you feel smart if you solved them ? you might know what is needed to solve them, but then you actually had to figure out how to do it. Plenty of locations to explore and things to do to keep your interest. Ending was different than expected. Took about 5 hours casual.

Who am I and what am I doing here?
I was not a big fan of the first installment of this series, but I demoed them at the same time and purchased them together, so by the time I finished the first game, I was stuck with this one. It is better than the first one but is not that great, either. As another reviewer commented, there is no love story here, so it should not be called "Love Chronicles." The story is a perfunctory fairytale that is not very engaging and gets more and more dull as the game progresses. As the title of my review indicates, I began to lose track of who my character was and why I should care about rescuing anybody. I did not like the mini games; I found them illogical and tedious, and I usually skipped them. The HO scenes were okay. I liked the graphics and the music, but not enough to wholeheartedly recommend this game. I was glad when it was over.

Wonderfully Entertaining
This is a game I totally enjoyed. I didn't play the first one in the series so can't make a comparison but this second game is excellent.
It has beautifully drawn & colored artwork and a cohesive storyline, although not a unique one. For the most part the hint system sufficed yet there were a few times I couldn't figure out what to do next & the hints didn't help. Thank goodness for WT's. The gameplay had some very unique and imaginative visuals and things to do. One example is the embroidery-it actually seemed I was doing a cross-stitch, which is something I enjoy doing. And the 'mobile home' - what a creative idea that was!
I may have to try the first game in this series and I'm hoping for another sequel. As a COTW, this game is a steal and I highly recommend it.
