A relaxing easier game
This certainly isn't the best there is: this is an easier/laid back game, but it was a pleasant game. There were plenty of pick-ups, and while ERS never gives you hard puzzles they were enjoyable. Each area was contained somewhat so the backtracking was kept to a minimum.
The hint button was helpful, so you didn't need a walkthrough. I played on expert (there are 2 levels) which still gave me hint and skip options, although they still give you mega sparkles for hidden object scenes.
I liked the fairytale storyline for a change ( although don't examine the plot logically too much, as especially at the end, when you think about it, it doesn't make sense.) But at least for a SE the ending felt complete and that I wasn't missing out on anything.
An easier Sunday afternoon, relaxing game
.C+game. (That's quite a good mark for me!)

Contains all the elements for fun & intrigue
This game was beautifully created. It had me hooked from the start of the demo and didn't navigate away from the plot. HOGs always left me with at least one item that I really had to search for. The variety of other puzzles only added to fun factor of the game. I usually buy the CE's but I only needed one more punch for a free game and to my surprise this version was not short by any means. ERS Games has won me over!

One of my favs....
This should be the poster child of what a good game can be.... it contained all the aspects that make a game intriguing, exciting, fun and enjoyable.
The artwork was superb, the unique gameplay incredibly imaginative, music excellent, and storyline magically unpredictible and creative.
BFG, please bring on more games like Spirits of Mystery, Amber Magic.... I didn't want it to end!

Delightful Game
I am glad I got this on the 2.99 deal. To me it is a fun game. I usually turn the sound down so I really can't comment on that. The graphics are good. The storyline is the same as a lot of other games. Someone is trapped or lost and you have to find them.
It is not a hard game to play not as intense as some of the others. I believe this is why I am enjoying it so much. It is a more relaxing game. After some of the games I have played lately it is nice to play a game like this. I love the $2.99 deal. Please do this again BF. I got to buy some extra games that I would not have purchased if I had to pay full cost.

Fun Fairytale Game
Spirits of Mystery: Amber Maiden is a fairytale-themed hidden object game. The graphics are very nice. The puzzles were fun but not very challenging. The hidden object scenes were good.
There is no map to navigate the game easily, but when you get to a new section of the game, you rarely have to backtrack to earlier sections. The story was pleasing, and the voice acting was mostly good. The length was about average for one of these types of games. I didn't feel cheated out of the length at all.
Overall, a fun game.

Beautiful Game
Such a beautiful well crafted game and a welcome change from the dark ones I've been playing of late...Fantastic story with crisp clear graphics and the HOS were not too difficult or too dark to find items. I would say this would be a perfect game for HOG beginners as i did find it too easy but that didn't stop my enjoyment of this magical game. The only downside was each time i would go for something from my inventory it would ask if i wanted to exit the game which was the only frustrating thing i experienced but all in all, FABULOUS!!

Relaxing, Peaceful Fairytale
I have only played the demo on casual mode, and finished with time to spare. This game is very linear and easy to follow, including the HOS, and the puzzles. I like games that have a good story, and are not very challenging...this is one of them. Experienced gamers, who like a challenge may not. This game will not frustrate you at all, and it's likely that you will never be lost. Even if you do get a bit lost, it's not so bad, as the scenes are beautiful. It's very calming, peaceful, and relaxing!
The hints are very helpful, and recharge quickly. The notebook records all puzzle codes, etc. The voice overs are done well enough to be believable. The sound effects of the water, birds, and such are lovely. The music is soothing and unobtrusive. The puzzles are on the easier side, fun, and are completely doable. The graphics, cut scenes, and artwork are just gorgeous! The HOS are not really junk piles, the objects are identifiable, and big enough to see without a microscope. The storyline is interesting to an extent...if you like fairy tales, you'll most likely enjoy this. Definitely worth the $2.99 DD or WD!

If U R Looking for Fun Easy Game
Maybe I'm burnt out on the typical story lines and HO's because I thought this game was just average. The game is lighthearted and fairytalelike. I liked the mini-games, fun but not really challenging. I did like the fact that you don't have to run back and forth continually, which made the length of the game good.

Relaxing little game
The game has very nice graphics, music, cutscenes and voice overs. The storyline is a typical fairy tale, you must save the kingdom and your family. There are also 2 play modes. Didn't play casual, but the expert mode includes sparkles for the HOs.
The HOs are the typical junkpile, but they are clear and crisp with some interaction. The puzzles offer nothing new and are all fairly easy and doable. The game play is somewhat lineary and easy to follow.
Finished in less than my average time, but did enjoy it. Just a nice relaxing game.

Fun game
Nice graphics, plenty HO scenes, puzzles are fairly easy. Cute adventure game with a decent story line but not too many cut scenes or voice overs. Takes a few hours to play, not too short.
