It's just okay Did not take long to complete. A little fustrating until you realize you need to check all the rooms to see if they are open to play in. The would suggest this is a beginner's game. June 22, 2012
Collect the 7 talismans of the artifact. Professor is missing but he called Lara to discuss an important artifact. Lara goes to Italy in search of clues. She knows that the talismans have been scattered somewhere around the University, but where? Go from room to room and back again - without benefit of a transportable map so this becomes tedious very quickly - finding clues and talismans (7). Graphics/Sound: Graphics are poorly done. Looks like a handpainted sketch. Sound was muted so I couldn't tell you much. No voiceovers - all reading - which also can become quite tedious. HOGs/MiniGames: This is a heavy HOG game. Every room you enter, there is an HOG to play. Problem is, the items are so difficult to find I got a headache. Mini Games were fun and relatively easy. Clues are in your journal. I really wanted to like this game but the story line was weak, lacked continuity and form. The HOGs gave me a headache and there was way to much back and forthing for my taste. My knees were actually beginning to hurt. For these and several other reasons, this will not be a buy for me but I do encourage everyone to give this game a try. Could be just what you're looking for. Happy Gaming! July 18, 2014
An OK game This game was almost entirely hidden objects. You are on the grounds of a college and you go from room to room looking for objects that you need. Every so often you find a talisman and have to place it correctly in a design. The way to find where to go next is to look for an open door. The doors are locked if there is nothing to do. There is also a hint button that will give you a tip if needed. There really isn't much to do except find things and then use them somehow. A journal helps you to use some of the objects. If there is some kind of mini-game once in a while, there is also a Skip button if needed. The game wasn't very long. At the end there is a big hint about a sequel. The game certainly wasn't horrible, just OK. I'm giving it a pretty unenthusiastic recommendation. October 27, 2013
When you have nothing to do... You know that moment when you do not want to think, you do not want to reasoning, just want to relax ... ... but it's raining and no good movie to watch, any good book to read ... then there is nothing else to do? Well, this is the time to play The Lost Talisman! In general, this game entertain you, but nothing new or exciting. The story is no big deal, and has annoying sounds (ghostly moans). No challenge. Graphics are well done and very clear. It has many places and many things to do, but nothing that requires much attention or effort. January 21, 2012
Easy and poorly made I got this as quick deal after buying another game. Since I only paid 3.99 I'm not too upset about it. There were many typos in the game making it difficult to tell what they wanted you to find. It was very linear and the puzzles were incredibly easy. The story line was also not to great, you didn't really get any answers at the end. December 20, 2011
The talisman that just talied This would have been a good game if only they had at least doubled its length. Everything was leading to a good game when it finished. January 1, 2012
old type HO game but outdated now Played this long time ago and never rated it. Old type game of HOS that is now very outdated in todays market. Not much for enjoying the music but the graphics are good. Easy game but get old and boring real fast because there is no adventure at all. June 20, 2013
Waste of time Very annoying how the only way to know what you are doing next is to wander around looking for an open door. puzzles very easy. Also it crashes all the time ( at least when it crashes it remembers where you were up to) and there's no voice over or sound other than the music background so don't bother turning it on. Yawn I played in the expert option and found the HOGs were pretty easy, though I didn't intuitively know that clue = glue. The story disappeared after the opening of the game and reappeared at the very end. Not sure were it went in between. I'm glad I only paid $2.99 because I very seriously doubt I will ever play it again. August 19, 2012
Hidden Object Game Many problems with game. Do not like the idea of locking all rooms except for the one you are working on. No fun. Not much I can say about this game. July 15, 2012
