excellent brain challenger game i love it & i play it twice a day at least !!! May 21, 2012
Challenging and addicting game I've had this game for a couple of years, and I've only managed to reach level 7!! It is a challenging, addicting game, focusing on spotting on planning ahead if you can. Visually it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but as its so addicting its fine that its not an "eyesore". Because I enjoyed this game so much, had difficulty finding another game like it-the only other ones that I've seen is Mahjongg Dimensions Deluxe (which I have completed and it is also quite challenging). So to those that may think its like the rest of the Mahjongg games, it is not-it is better!. November 18, 2013
Not a mahjong game at all. While this game WANTS to be like a mahjong game - it is sooo NOT one - lol - it's different, unique, dare I even say better? Here's how the game plays - hold on to your hats because it WILL sound confusing - sorry inadvance: There is a game board on your screen. There are tiles all over it scattered throughout the board that are your typical mahjong tiles. That's where the difference ends. You have to pair 2 like tiles together and clear the screen by doing so. Sound easy? It most certainly is not because, unlike mahjong, everything is laid out on a flat "table" and not in layers. So, you can't work from the top down, etc. to get your "free" tiles. You are working on a flat surface AND trying to make pairs with "free" tiles that are, sometimes, even impossible to make. Tiles that are next to each other, even in the middle of the board, are considered "free" tiles and can be matched (yes, even with all those other tiles around them. Tiles on one side of the board can be matched with tiles clear on the opposite end - IF it's considered "free". And, what may seem "free" to you .. guess what? Probably isn't. The game is timed (short bit of time - well it seems that way) and there's this annoying beeping noise when it's close to you needing to make a pair or you lose a life. Lose 3 lives and game over and you start AT LEVEL 1 AGAIN! There's also only "normal" setting. I recommend you play the "practice" section of the game first. It is timed, just like the actual game and it does level up as well. There's a bonus game between levels (but I don't understand it - I understand the playing of it but not the explanation "if" you win and that's a BIG "if"). I tried to play the regular game and lost every time on level one - LOL - and only got to level 3 on the practice game. It's addictive and challenging, very challenging....extremely challenging. I mused purchasing the game...it's got me THAT hooked but I'm pretty sure (well, reasonably sure) that I don't want a game I'm going to be stuck in the practice mode forever - lol. Who knows, maybe. Uh oh, I hear it calling.................................. August 16, 2014
