Interesting story! The storyline is really interesting, and the way you travel between locations a good idea! I played in advance mode, so hints and skip are recharging slowly. - The graphics are crisp, the objects in the HOS are easy to find. - The puzzles are quite easy, but most of them are not the ones you usually get. - The hint system is like "there is nothing to do here". - There is a journal but no map. There are not that many locations that you would get lost, although there is a lot of walking back and forth. I needed 2 1/2 hours to finish but I didn't feel that it was too short. July 29, 2012
Nice! The graphics are slightly blurry but here we have well done HOS, interesting puzzles, good length, backtracking and no sparkles (neither HOS) in advanced mode. January 23, 2014
Love the "shade effect" Im finding myself drawn more to games that are unique and this one definitely is!! It plays as a normal hidden object game except you can "pull the curtains" and the whole scene changes and you are in an underworld of evil so to speak. At some point in the game, it actually gets dark because its night and the demon world is there all the time. It's your duty to find and rescue your friend who is a journalist. This game took me approximately 4 hours give or take. It was sooo fun, I wish it had lasted longer but the SE wrapped up quite nicely. No need to get the CE to figure out what happens. I have the 2nd one in this series and I understand it more now from having played this one. This one leads you right on in. I could never get this one to work on my computer but now it does randomly and I am very happy about that :) There are two modes of difficulty. The music goes very well with the gameplay. There are lots of scenes since you have two per room because of the curtains. The hidden object scenes vary from interactive to putting back the item to just normal lists. There are a lot of different mini games. I did skip a few, not because of difficulty but just because I wanted to keep going with the story and some repeat. Like it has a lot of puzzles that are the ones where you are trying to make all the boxes/shapes stand out or in. I can usually get those after repeated tries but sometimes its just too much so I skip. There is a puzzle to solve the game and its kind of tricky...took me awhile to save my friend. All in all, this is a great game. Enjoy!! Love Orneon & their games xx I recommend the 2nd one in this series too! I like it even more because it has elephants! my fav! February 7, 2013
Out of this world A realy facinating game it certainly keeps you thinking the graphics are very well done and well worth the money for the game it has kept me glued to the screen for a long time had to take breaks a long game in all a very good game . January 23, 2013
Great Game! I loved this HO game. It is exciting and there is a good story that carries you through the game. It should be enjoyable for all experience levels. August 29, 2012
Unique, Fun HOS/Adventure Game One of my all-time favorite games because of the unique way it switched up during game-play. It was interesting, and compelled you to play. Would highly recommend. February 15, 2012
Quatzacoatl Good Time! Great game. Well done. The DEVS apply historical research for more emersive entertainment. "Believable" story, great music, good art. Puzzles are challenging without being too hard and HOGs are as good as they get! Making a scene change shape and time period via lighting is VERY cool. Just made the game even more enjoyable. Some of the best mood setting music I've heard in a game. Quite appropriate. After what Peter has gone through and as scared as he acts in the final scene, I think a well placed wet spot would have been hilarious, haha. Anyway, I look forward to more titles in this series! One of my favorites I found this game to be very innovative in the way you can change the rooms around. It was challenging, but not daunting, a perfect match to my abilities. It kept my interest to the end. I wish there were more in the series. December 11, 2011
Loved this game! I bought the sequel first and fell in love,so had to play this one.Bought them both in CE.Money well spent.Lots of fun, plenty of extra play in the CE. July 21, 2012
Great game Good storyline: you have to rescue your friend Peter from a powerful demon. Really cool how you can change the lighting in an area and show the area in another time. Lots of puzzles, mostly hard. Great VOS and graphics. Very enjoyable 5 hours of game play. June 8, 2012
