A smart, fun game
At first glance the graphics seem a bit old-school, not the clear crispness or beautiful hand-painted quality that I love. But the game play itself was exceptional. This game took smart fun details to a level I haven't seen yet in a HO/adventure game.
HO scenes weren't the best, but I loved rooting around in drawers for objects, which is what a person realistically would do. Return trips did not magically replace found objects. The cursor lights up when information is available, a nice touch. The game progression was linear, rarely will you root around for no reason, and as you find new items and solve puzzles the villain shows up to thwart your plans.... changing the scene and even the sounds in the background.
I really enjoyed this game, I didn't feel the need to rush and finish because I was tired of it, it remained fun throughout. The puzzles were smart, you won't get handheld instruction but if you take some time you can figure them out with logic and reason. They weren't they type that were easy to solve even with a walkthrough, but still fun and satisfying when you do.
The music was beautiful and constantly changing. And the hint system will give you sparkles directing you where you need to go, and then highlighting the next task.
I highly recommend this game, it looks like the typical old-school HO-happy snooze fest, but contains a lot of hidden fun!

Solid, good adventure/HOG with nice visuals.
The gameplay is fun and the visuals are cohesive throughout the game. However, I found the story a bit convoluted and confusing, and never got entirely engrossed. Many overlapping puzzles got a bit confusing, too, with many objects in my inventory and no idea what to do with most of them. Still, a fun play.

Great game!
I really enjoyed this one.... a good challenge that won't cause you to tear your hair out but will make you think a good bit to puzzle through to the end. The artwork is absolutely fantastic... beautifully done. I did not find the end to be abrupt as another reviewer said -- it just left you looking for the sequel, which I will be.... I definitely recommend this one... enjoy!

Very Good HOG, Excellent Graphics
Very good hidden object game and interesting puzzles. Puzzles were varied and not tedious types; some you had to figure out your strategy before starting. No reset button. HO scenes were varied types (words, outlines, find x number, move objects to find HO, etc.). Graphics were excellent. Particularly liked that I could actually SEE objects in the HO scenes! Ending was appropriate (not sure why some thought it "abrupt") for SE (could see where CE would carry on). Good length (not overly long or short). Music very nice (did not have to turn off like I do other times). Only thing-lots of backtracking because no map to show you "active" areas; but maps in other games could have spoiled me on that point! Happy I bought it and played it and would probably buy others from this developer. Oh, and no timing of play (thank you - I use games to destress),

great variety
I found this game engaging and intricate: offering many twists and turns that make sense, with quite a few unusual and unique mini-games. I'll have to say that once i got into it, it may have become my favorite game!
(oh?I had use the walkthrough quite a few time to see if I was on the right track!)

really good HO game
graphics were clear and the HO scenes weren't too bad. hint/skip took a little longer than i have been used to. i had trouble with mini games but i don't do most of these kinds of games well. i did enjoy it but there is a lot of back and forth, but the hints are good to tell you where to go. no map but there is a journal. the clues in there help you with the game.

CHOOOO CHOOOO
This comes from just playing the demo and I loved it..and I ran to the buy button...loved the graphics..but sadly my sound wasnt working for the game....loved the story line..and the HOSs were a great challenge..having a mixture of the different kinds was a great idea..visuals were crisp and clear..loved how they kept them all to the era..from the other reviews im hoping when I get my new tower that the music is as good as they say..the shortness of the game does not bother me at all as alot of times I play the game to just relax..I recommend this game.

Barely OK
The production of this game is barely OK. Poor artwork. Poor character representations. Some technical problems where the game quits working. Game play is mostly OK, with some dumb items that have to be collected with a ball and hourglass, and these are spread around. Some items needed are in plain sight, but you can't pick them up until later - dumb. HOS are, again, mostly OK as are the puzzles. The story is poor and poorly told. I don't recommmend this game unless at a bargain price.

Mostly good
I enjoyed the vast majority of the game, but I think I remember there being several times when the next step isn't obvious and you have to go back and visit all the places you've been to see if there's a new search area. I hate having to do that.
Some of the puzzles were more annoying rather than fun and challengeing as well, so I ended up skipping a few.
All in all though I'd say it's a good game and worth it. Also pretty good length-wise.
