Grim Facade: Mystery of Venice
Pretty sets,dull story
This game began well -- in plague-ridden Venice a woman and her daughter have been kidnapped during a gondola ride. The husband/father enlists you, the Detective, to find and save them! You discover this has something to do with Redemption, a secret society. You have to solve lots of HO games and a few not-so-hard puzzles in some beautiful and bizarre locales -- but what does any of this have to do with those women or the secret society? This game lacks plot and character development, and the end wraps up quickly. Finally, there is something creepy in how the women are depicted.

Getting fed up of HOG to be honest and this was probably one of the blandist. The delay on changing scenes was ridiculous sometimes taking 30 seconds! never had such a slow loading game. I found the story line dull and "seen it done it all before" nothing much of a challenge, the puzzles were the easiest I have done (get the feeling I didnt like this one).
Found myself praying that it would end soon .. waste of money!
Deleted straight after playing and wont ever re-install!

I really don't like it
Way to go for those who liked it, for me it was an absolute waste of time and money.

I really did try to like it ...
I have tried 3 times since buying this game to get through it - sorry it is absolutely incomprehensible to me. Sorted out a few early scenes and then it just got away. Hints are no help at all. I even resorted to going to a mate's place and playing his CE version. Ended up having to use the SG for a step-by-step walk through. That is just so pointless. Way to go for those who liked it, for me it was an absolute waste of time and money.
