A Nice Change of Pace I tried the trial on this and bought it because the beautiful animated artwork was a nice change of pace from the dark grim games that have been out lately. It was a little young but I still enjoyed it and it was just enough challenge to keep my interest but easy enough to be relaxing. January 31, 2012
Reminded me a of Salvador Dali paintings I liked this game because the game concept reminded me of Salvador Dali paintings. He is one of my top favourite artists and to see game art with the same dream like like style is quite interesting. Some reviews said it was too childish, but if you look at the game from a view of a child's imagination it would look like the paintings of Salvador Dali. The only thing about this game that was dissapointing was that I found it rather too short in length. I am hoping they make another game following this one, but made longer in length and a little more challenging like the Drawn game series or like Syberia game series...which are both really good series to play btw. ;) February 29, 2012
Challenging! This game is not as harmless as it looks like! With the story and the cartoonish graphics, you would think: cute, surely easy... Nope! This game is really challenging! I played in Expert mode: There are no journals or maps. You will have to remember things. The HOS are good, the objects not always easy to find. The mini-games can be really challenging and there are not always instructions, so you'll have to guess or use the hint system, which is good. But otherwise, the hint system is not really helpful, especially if you are not in the active location. Some of the objects are in the location itself, and hard to find. What I found negative was that the cut-scenes are long and you can't click to continue. And when you change location, it's also very slow. Without skipping, I needed 2 1/2 hours. All in all, a different, good, challenging game! August 16, 2013
What a shame The game is pleasing from an artistic POV. It has a reasonable level of challenge, for me anyway. It's short. Got through it without help. What totally spoiled it for me is the end of the story - just rather nasty rubbish and not really suitable for kids, if you were thinking of this as a game for them. Adults with any sense of decency will be annoyed too. The developers will have to do better than this. Waste of money really, unless they are planning a sequel to "make good" their mediocre ideas. I rather suspect it's beyond their narratological abilities. I don't recommend this, sadly. October 31, 2013
Very Strange The game was okay, very short but I liked the puzzles. It had an awful story line and the ending was very strange. Obviously the creators are hoping to have a part 2. It was just okay. I don't know that I would recommend. There are many great games on the site, I think I would advise trying one of those first. Not for children. June 6, 2012
interesting change of pace enjoyed the demo for its unique concept - a fun break from the usual style - altho it is not challenging, it is cute. not buying the full version because others have said it is a short game. For that reason I don't recommend buying unless you just really love the demo or have a younger player in your household..otherwise I do recommend playing the demo. February 11, 2012
Too confusing / difficult - not enough direction This game is so cute, sorry guys, but it's cute. The graphics are clean and child-like, the music is eerie good, but the direction is not there. One scene says "find the soup recipe" - and the hint shows a tree, but none of the inventory items fits. Very frustrating. November 25, 2011
disappointing from the get go I love HOGs, but this one gives you virtually nothing to go on. I'm not a stupid person, but Sphera made me feel like I was. Absolutely no idea what you were supposed to do most of the time. Back & forth from just a few sites over & over & over. Graphics were nice, but that was all. So disappointed. Wouldn't take it if it were free. June 23, 2014
