Can't get into it..
I bought this a long time ago because I was hooked after playing the demo. But I quickly lost interest. Over the years I have reinstalled it to try again and every time I do, I lose interest after a few mins. I don't know why but it doesn't grab me, I find the gameplay boring after a short while.
The graphics and sound effects are great and it's a humorous and cute game, very well done for what it is. There's a number of imaginative and useful powerups. But that pot sliding back and forth at the bottom is maddening (I keep trying to control it w/ my mouse!) and the way the focus zooms in and out on the last peg makes me seasick.
It's a unique game (others have followed, but this one started it all) and I'm glad it's out there for those who love it! I myself just don't like the type I guess. Aim the ball, drop it, and watch it bounce around.
Still, I recommend it, but try the demo and play the whole hour first, you might get bored (or maybe not)..!

Much Better than Peggle Nights!
Great school like storyline.
Duel mode is awesome.
Loved the different green peg bonuses.
Game starts off fun, then gets boring.
Very, very repetitive.
Frustrating at times.
Overall, the game is missing something that would take it to the next level. It's a recommendation from me, but not enough to make me buy.

Where the Ball Stops................Nobody Knows.
There was an adventure level....which usually HAS a story....but I just didn't see it, hear it or get any idea there was a story.
Pretty good. I mean, you have pegs, you have a ball, when you hit it, it lights up. Period.
The backgound music was tedious. The sound effects what you'd expect in an arcade game.
Again, you have a screen full of pegs. Some are green - they do special things. Some are purple - they do special things. But, the important ones are the orange ones - THOSE you have to destroy with 10 balls. Oh, and then sometimes there are orange pegs AND orange bricks you have to destroy.
For the 25 minutes I played this game, I was bored. I passed most of the levels I played with one try. If I had to replay a level (no way to opt out and continue), it soon became tedious and boring. The BIGGEST problem I found with this game is that as you leveled up, there was an increase of the number of pegs on the board, as well as the number of ORANGE pegs on the board - but no extra balls. AND, you don't get credit for say, leaving one peg behind. It's an all or nothing game.
This Glam-ma thinks this is more a game of chance than strategy. I didn't care for it and won't purchase it. That doesn't mean you won't LOVE it. So, Glam-ma says please do try the demo. It's free and you only lose an hour or less if you try it.
The review of this game is based on this Glam-ma's opinion - and only mine. Therefore, if you found this review to be helpful, please click on the "yes" button below. There is also a "no" button. Seriously? You'd give your Glam-ma a "no"? Kidding.
