Can't Wait for the Next One!
I love the Drawn series, they are unique and original games. I always become totally absorbed in these games and I found this one just as fun as the other two (Drawn 2 is probably my favorite). Trail of Shadows is a great adventure game for all the positive reasons already mentioned in the feedbacks. There are no HOG piles (a big plus for me) and I thought the interactive book was a great addition. Unfortunately,I did get a little tired of the music after a while and this game was shorter than the other two. Still, definitely worth the purchase. Thanks to the developers for their incredible imagination and please don?t let us wait so long for the next one!

Disappointing Game
Loved the first two Drawn games but did not find this one to be even close in terms of challenge, intrigue, interest or creativity. Very disappointing.

cleverness plus beauty
This is a lovely game, but almost monotonous in its beauty. It seems to be one colorful garden after another, after another. Almost too many flowers and winding grassy paths. I had trouble knowing what to do several times, so I'll replay it at least once and maybe get inside the heads of those brilliant developers to see what makes them tick! The music is hauntingly beautiful and melancholy. I recommend this game, in part because everyone should experience the Drawn series, and in part because it makes you think, think, think.

Brilliant, imaginative, creative ...just ace!
"Even in a world of darkness, the light of creativity shines through! ,so ends the third instalment of the fabulous 'Drawn' series: and shine it does!
We loved this game, the graphics are cool, the gameplay addictive to say the least, the breadth of imagination is just awe inspiring, the visuals unusual and beautiful, the puzzles very challenging, but so imaginative and intriguing.... we didnt want it to end. Keep up the brilliant work: best game me and my daughter have played in ages. (and I hardly ever feel moved to write a review!)

Short but sweet
Loved this game...it was on the short side but I loved the graphics and the puzzles just wish it was longer.

could have been better
I absolutely loved the first 2 drawn games, but sadly found this a little boring, and much shorter thar the others, the game story wasn't as good and objectives seemed random at times, glad i didnt buy the CE.

Could have been better
Well I love the Drawn series, but I have to say trail of Shadows is not the best of them. I really did not like the pop up books. Not sure it was worth getting the Collectors edition. However having said that I still enjoyed the the game a lot.
I would reccomend this game to Drawn fans only

Did they just get tired?
The entire Drawn series is great. Love the graphics, story, and even the voices. However, is it just me or are they skimping on the length of the game? I was very excited to play it when I purchased it but was disappointed after I finished it in just over an hour... =( And I am not, by any means, some crazed hidden-object/action game whiz. It just seemed to be shorter than the other two, each. I know this is supposed to be an "economic depression" or whatever but that doesn't mean that I'm going to keep purchasing the games if they keep getting shorter and shorter. Either way, great in all other areas. So kudos on that end.

Beautiful and original!
Having played the other Drawn games, I was looking forward to this new one. I found the game before this one slightly disappointing but Trail of shadows is GREAT again. Fantastic scenery, intuitive playing, original puzzles and a great balance according to difficulty. VERY GOOD. Let's wait for the next one!!

Stunning Visual Quality
I have to agree with some other reviews. This game was rather short. Shorter than the other Drawn games. It took me about 3 hours to finish. I will have to say that the visual quality was stunning and the "3D" like effects were kind of neat because it was different to see in a game like this (kind of trippy looking in a way).
The puzzles did make you think and were challenging enough, yet easy enough to complete without help. 1 or 2 of the puzzles were a little bit on the frustrating side, but eventually I got them done without skipping the puzzle. I was temped to, but I bore through it. Over all I liked the story and it connected with the other 2 Drawn games in an interesting way.
