Another great game in this series. I love the Drawn series, the artwork is beautiful and the games are interesting. I agree with other reviewers that once you know the style then the game is a little on the short side but as ever it left me wanting more. November 24, 2011
Beautiful, atmospheric game have played all three of these games and all are beautifully designed and the graphics are excellent. Has a real atmosphere, this one I thought was easier than the others and my one gripe is that they are quite short (took me about 3 hours while other HOJ take me about 5-6 hours) November 23, 2011
Keep 'Em Coming! I love the Drawn series of games. The combination of gorgeous graphics and challenging puzzles always has me engaged. I was a little disappointed with this one though; it didn't seem as challenging as the previous two, and therefore not as much gameplay. Keep them coming, can't wait to play the next game :) November 23, 2011
Fun Bright, Light Hearted game Being the third game in a series, this game continues its gorgeous fairy tale like graphics. Although you are looking for objects throughout the game, it is not the typical Hidden Object game per se. Very nice voice-overs and pleasant background music. The game is done in 3D with slight screen movement. If you're the type to get sea sick, the movement can be turned off in the options menu. Two levels of difficulty. In easy mode, the active areas sparkle. The hint system is cleverly incorporated into the list of objective and are not timed. Puzzles throughout the game are unique, interesting and not too challenging even for an intermediate player, although they can be skipped. There are four chapters to the game, each chapter is represented as a painting you advance through by repairing the painting before being able to enter it. There is a walkthrough available and so far I did look at it for one of the puzzles (I didn't get the objective of one game.). As an intermediate player I am spending a good hour per painting. So I expect the game to entertain me for over four hours. But I must say I am not rushing things, the graphics are worth enjoying. The most advanced players will probably not find it as challenging as they like and could proceed through the game faster. For me it was a nice change from the dark atmosphere of so many other games. Although you are still fighting the "evil" it is done in a bright colorful, more lighthearted atmosphere. I figured this would be a buy for me as soon as it came out, after playing the demo it definitely was. So far I have completed two chapters and the game installed and plays flawlessly on a PC running Vista. November 22, 2011
DO NOT BUY! i was so so so disappointed in this game. The fun factor and the sound and visual quality was good but the length of the game was extremely poor. I absolutely could not believe how short the game was! I have the other drawn games, my husband and i love them, they are our favorite. However this one gets such low ratings because of the length. My husband and finished the game in a little under an hour...waste of money in my opinion... January 11, 2012
What The Heck i was thoroughly disappointed with this follow up game.....primarily because it was wayyyyy too short....the first one set the bar, the second did alright, but this one was a disaster in terms ending....the graphics as always were beautiful, the scenes were interesting but the interactive plays were not challenging at all....this has taught me never to buy a game that does not provide game time.....better luck next time drawn............ugggggggggg November 22, 2011
Too Many Glitches I have started this game over several times and am just giving up and dumping it. Items I found and need suddenly disappear, never to be seen again. I'm sick of starting over. I can't recommend it and certainly won't be purchasing others in the series. December 14, 2011
Drawn: Trail of Shadows This game was a disappointment compared to the two previous games. The game was far to short, as an SG it was alright it was definitely not worth it as a CE. The visuals had the same wonderful quality most Drawn games have. The puzzles were far to simple and the story was not well developed. The premise seemed fine but the game was so short it did not have much time to develop. If it is a daily deal or you have a punch card credit you need to use then go for it otherwise hold on to your money for a game that is a little more of a challenge. November 19, 2011
AMAZING GAME!! I love the "Drawn" series and this installment shows there are no signs of it becoming stale. Intelligent storyline, incredible graphics, and puzzles that will test your problem solving abilities to the max. I love it!! Keep up the great work! November 19, 2011
Not as challenging as others in the series, but... I have enjoyed the Drawn series. So when this one came available, I had to have it. There are a lot of complaints of it being too short. Those complaints are justified. I too was wishing it had been longer. But I found the story to be compelling and the overall experience worth it. I did find the same issues with this version that I had with the others--screen freezes and system bogging down. So there was a few trips out of the game and back in. The delays were frustrating. However, the game itself was very much worth it. I look forward to more in the series or additional games. December 4, 2011
