Addicting
My roommate and I played the whole game in one sitting. Then went back through to try and accomplish all of the challenges :)

Let yourself be drawn in?
This is amazing in it's details. I don't want to actually review it -- you should experience every little surprise for yourself. Just immerse yourself in this game's environment. There are some truly wondrous moments that will evoke a smile.
Some hints about mechanics:
? If you are bothered by the scene "movement" you can turn it off in options
? Play in Experienced mode -- no sparkles or visual hints
? If you have performance issues, lower your screen resolution (notice was in the game)
? The game has achievements -- IF you want to know what they are, click on "extras" before you start to play.
? Look everywhere at everything!

Another fantastic game
These guys did it again. Visually superb, wonderful soundtrack, challenging games, no random hunt and peck, a complete and well told story, great narration and no bugs. The Drawn series just ruins the rest of HO/puzzle games for me because they don't hold a candle to this series. If I absolutely had to give a critique it would be that it was a little shorter time-wise than expected. I finished in two (albeit obsessed) days. More please!

Very Good...But Short!!!
I?ve played all of the ?Drawn Games? and the only real true drawback is that they?re aggravatingly short. I?ve felt that from the first game that if you combined all 3 that it would have been a masterpiece. After I?m done I always end up wanting more. That being said, this is a good Standard Edition game. But compared to the length of some others, it?s perplexing as to why they haven?t put more length into the game.
?Drawn: Trail of Shadows? is different from the first 2. It?s both a plus and a minus. I do miss the ?World of Drawn? that was created in the first 2 games. However, I loved the pop-up books in this one. The graphics were very bright and colorful. I thought it was a lot of fun. There was a lot to do. But this whole game kind of felt like it belonged in one of the other games. It was very good, but it seemed somewhat isolated in its attempt.
If you?ve played the other 2, then I think it?s definitely worth playing this one.

LIKED THIS BETTER THAN FIRST 2
I found that I was able to understand what needed to be done and where to go and how to figure out things WITHOUT using the walkthrough all the time ALOT better than I was able to with the first 2 "Drawn" games.
The one thing that I found EXTREMELY confusing was the mini-game and the matching pairs, when the matching pairs were on the same wheel. I had to read and re-read the walkthrough instructions before I understood that I COULD light up the first match, turn the wheel, and then light up the 2nd match.
I have to say that I found this game VERY beneficial to the psyche because it tended to be far more bright and colorful rather than dark and dreary.

Great graphics/art but gameplay is too short
Lovely graphics and semi-challenging puzzles. I give it 4 stars because the gameplay time is short, a couple hours at most, with only 4 chapters.

Love this game
I recommend this game to everyone who likes HO and adventure games. The story, sound, visual effects are stunning. To the developer of Drawn: Keep these games coming!

Not for Me
Bought it, tried it, deleted it.
Got to the second portal, and though it probably say's more about me than the game, I was so frustrated trying shut the 3 eyes to open the portal through the vines, I decided to go no further. Even the YouTube solutions took between 3 & 10 minutes. It ceases to be a puzzle and becomes a chore when the method works against the solution.
I agree that the book thing did not work in this iteration and maybe the devs have becomed tired of the genre, it's definitely run out of steam.
I also found the music very annoying, but was more annoyed when I couldn't turn it off without reducing the speaker volume on my computer.

Entertaining
A funny crazy and different game, I love it, but it's a bit too small. I finished it in one day
