Halloween:Trick or Treat
Great kids' Halloween game!
First of all, I cannot understand why people give this game 1 star because it's for kids. Yes, it is for kids. Just because it did not interest you, an adult, doesn't mean it deserves one star.
I bought this game for my daughter, who is 6 and likes playing games, both computer and board. This game was a perfect mood-setter for the run-up to Halloween. It is easy enough for my daughter to play by herself (even though she likes me or Daddy helping her and has to ask what some of the words mean). HO scenes are spooky, but not too scary, full of cleverly hidden things, yet not too cluttered. Hints are plentiful and puzzles simple, but fun. There are extra mini-challenges - collecting candy canes and trying to get a treat from the flashing pumpkin/skull. She is playing it through for the second time now and asked me not to delete it.
I think I may have to find a similar Christmas game...

A very good Halloween game
Fun game for kids of all ages and for grownups too.If you like hidden object levels after hidden object levels with a bit of a Halloween twist, this is the perfect game for you.Hint button fills up very quickly and the puzzles are not too hard and not too easy. There were a few of the puzzles that were hard and I had to skip but,all the others I could complete.Collect the candy canes for extra points and go to the options menu to change some things. All of the scenes are filled with fun Halloween items and candy canes.my favorite puzzle was when you had to match some Halloween items with the costume they belong with.Very fun game. This is a buy for me.

Does exactly what it says on the tin!
FINALLY! A Hidden Object game that really is just that. No silly storyline making you trudge around finding objects to open this or that.
You find the hidden objects, hints power-up again quite quickly, then there's one fun puzzle to complete which you can quickly skip if you want to before going back to find hidden objects. When you finish the game, simply start again as the game lists different objects to find. An EXCELLENT hidden object game! Bravo!

Happy Halloween what a treat!
I enjoyed this game almost as much as my grandchildern did. After the hour was up witch(sic) seemed like 15 minutes we had to buy it. It is by no means easy but it is a lot of fun. The puzzles are easy to semihard and the whole game is just a real treat to play. Buying this game is no trick just a sweet treat.

Fun Hidden Objects Game Around Halloween Time
Halloween:Trick or Treat is a fun & simple game especially during Halloween. Though it seemed more geared towards children, I found it entertaining and relaxing. Fun mini games, spooky sounds and beautifully rendered scenes made this game very enjoyable. The only down side to this game was that the hints were nearly impossible for me to see when I used them. (I am legally blind so this may not be a problem for most)
In all a simple, fun, relaxing game to get into the Halloween mood.
If readers are looking for a spooky, horror filled game, pass this one up.

Lazy afternoon fun.
Nothing sinister or popping out to suck blood, just good easy fun. No, it's not a big challenge, but, it's not supposed to be. The HOG scenes are not a pass, you do need to look. Then the candy canes are really hidden well Then the unknown prize or penalty. And, finally, a mini-game that moves very easy to completion. All the technical stuff is taken care of; no nerve crushing music, no frustrating dialogue. Good for the kid in you or living with you. Thanks BFG and developer

Good holiday game to play with a child
This is a game from Casual Arts which seems aimed at the younger player. The graphics are cartoonish & brightly coloured; a cheering YEAH is given if you find a special item. It filled my widescreen.
There is an easy mode with sparkles, no misclick penalty & a 25 second hint recharge whereas hard mode has no sparkles, the cursor stops for a couple of seconds if you over click & the hint recharge is 40 seconds.
You switch between hidden object scenes & very easy mini games; within the H0 scenes are candy canes, find them to earn points, you will be told when you have found all in a scene. After the first H0 scene another point earner comes into play; an alternated skull/pumpkin flashes in certain areas of the screen if your cursor passes over it. Click on the skull & you earn a trick, click on the pumpkin & you earn a treat.
I did not play long enough to know what the points, treats & tricks will give you. This is not a buy for me but seems a fun game to play with a child

Treat for the young and young-at-heart
Cute, colorful and mildly spooky, this game captures the fun of going out trick-or-treating. The mix of easy puzzles and jumbled hidden object scenes follows a simple story with little repetition. Graphics are eye-catching and the sound effects and music are creepy. Get this game for little kids or as a coffee-break game to get you in the holiday mood.

I bought this game simply because Halloween is still the most fun.It is what you would expect it to be.This one is just a fun game probably more suited for the younger crowd but still fun nonetheless, given the low number of Holiday games that are available. The sound effects are fun and the heavy breathing is funny. It is a lighthearted game and no one should expect any more from it.It is not hard and you will not need a walkthrough. It was much longer of a game than I expected and you receive nothing for finding the candy canes just a higher score. It is OK to own a fun game too.

Trick or Treat
Overall a very good Halloween time game. Good hidden objects and some fun extras. Need to find certain extras in each scene and the pace is good. A fun game that you will enjoy. It is not one of the hardest so the game play can be an enjoyable afternoon's fun.
