If you like the prequel get the sequel! I really enjoyed this game! I loved the first Haunted Hills & I am glad to say this one follows its lead. Game play is PACKED full of content & storyline. While playing, you never forget that it is a mystery because you are always on the search to progress through the game. HOG sceens are very clear & items are easily distinguishable, but not ever easy to find. There is a challenge! The only thing that I did not like is the flashing notes sign. It's probably great for a new or intermediate level player, but I just did not need to document every little thing. But other than that...BE READY TO BE ENTERTAINED. November 16, 2011
An awesome game! This game is terrific! The graphics and storyline make this game really come alive. It is so much fun to discover new areas to explore! Picking up items along the way to add to your inventory and figuring out where they are needed in past scenes or saving them for future use. Fun, fun, fun! The perfect challenge level, too! Awesome! Disappointed I waited so long for this game. Even saved a credit just for it. I loved the first Haunted Halls, but this one seemed so simplistic and way too easy. But, it seems I am in the minority here. It is ok, but not as good as I expected. I will recommend it because it is not bad, just not terriffic. November 22, 2011
Haunted Halls - Fears from Childhood This game gripped me from the first click. As good as Haunted Halls - Green Hills Sanitarium. Story line is perfect. Graphics is beautiful and Music is haunting. HOGs are good and interactive with people & animals good. I played the expert version and still found it easy enough for seasoned adventurers and beginers alike. November 11, 2011
Half as Good It was good, graphics, dark story etc, but was disappointed the game was half as long as the original. Just I got into it, it was over. Other than that it was enjoyable. January 20, 2012
Excellent Hidden Object Game I thoroughly enjoyed this game. I don't like really hard puzzles that make my brain hurt so this was just right. The storyline was nice and moved along quite well. Maybe there will be a sequel with more kids at some point in time. Thanks Big Fish! November 15, 2011
What a Waste Its no secret that I have been very dissatisfied with ERS games in the past year but the first game in this series was so special! It was one of those games that just draws you in and makes you so appreciative of the outside thinking of the box and its a game that made me fall in love with this genre of games so that being said even though ERS has let me down so many times now in the past year I had high hopes that this sequel would live up to the first one which had won my heart over years prior. However, this game is heartbreaking in my opinion. It starts off easy and never really gets to a hard point of the game. All the puzzles are the same as other games they have done. Nothing is new and the "save the children" part is the same as many of their other games. What really bothered me about this game was the lack of originality and how after the first hour it disintegrated into one hidden object scene after the other to find the needed objects. There was nothing clever about finding them and when you have 2-3 different hidden object scenes per room, the game feels like they just threw it together instead of putting any real thought behind it. Besides that part, the ending just abruptly ended. I didn't buy the CE of the first one because I didn't buy CE's at all then and I had an ending that was satisfactory to the game but this game gave me what I was supposed to do and then cut off. There was no conclusion or satisfaction of beating the guy I had chased for 2 years. Instead I was given a lacklaster abrupt ending because I didn't choose the CE. I've reached a breaking now with ERS games. I used to buy them solely at the 4.99 price on sale or DD's to kill the time but I don't want to support their company at all now. I think they are a disgrace to the gaming industry and strip people of me from their hard earned money for a game that is mediocre at best but covered up by wonderful graphics. Their graphics are so amazing that they could be the best game developer out there and most respected but they choose to go the easy way out and put out games that aren't the best of their ability and thats where I draw the line. As of this point, I am done with ERS. April 7, 2012
Loved it all I loved everything about this game to include graphics, game play, music and the storyline. I just wanted to open every door to see what the next adventure was going to be like. The interactions were creative and challenging. I know I will come back to this game again and recommend it to my fishy friends. I give it 5 stars. November 13, 2011
Haunted Halls: Fears from Childhood Very good game with brilliant graphics, I really enjoyed the demo and was gutted when I came to the end. 1 will defo purchase. The game play was esy to follow and get the hang of if you like hidden object games. November 12, 2011
Very easy Graphics good, but way too easy, even my 9 year old found it easy and she played in advanced mode. Positive: option for no sparkles. November 11, 2011
