Disappointed
This game was just okay. Story line was a little confusing and if I understand, wasn't much of a story. The HO's were a little confusing at times too. One asked for a pencil. Clicked on a pencil, but it wasn't the right one, so had to find another pencil. One wanted you to find a "Durian". Who's ever heard of that??? Don't like games you have to use a dictionary to play.
But, got the game on daily special, so really can't complain.

Great Game!!!
Just finished this game and was delighted to find out it was as good as it was. The Graphics were terrific and the background noises were just right. Lots of things to find but for some reason it doesn't seem a burden in this game and if you are patient it comes together. The main thing I liked was the fact you can organize yr 'Inventory Tray'. There are 2 puzzles I felt like pulling my hair out over, but that's what it's all about-:)

Excellent!
The storyline is well-developed and constantly changing, almost movie-like. The graphics are beautiful and well-drawn, even the HO scenes are superb, no junk piles! Items are replaced after you find them, but HO scenes aren't strung together too much so it's not bothersome.
The music is so-so, less "music" and more spooky undertones with cymbals crashing. But at least it's not annoying.
I like that the game is set somewhat close to modern times... in my opinion that takes a lot more imagination than constantly throwing characters back in time.
The hint system is superb, it tells you exactly where to go and what to do... imagine that!

Beautiful fantasy graphics
Eye-catching fantastical locales keep you moving through this otherwise straightforward and perhaps a little bit short hidden object adventure game. A few hidden objects were difficult for me to find.

Ummm...
I bought this game through the Daily Deal, and glad I did, because I don't think I should buy it in full price and glad that BFG donates 1USD for the breast cancer awareness. I like Vogat's many other games like Reincarnation series but as usual, their games have no voice over and only some background music is not very appealing. The storyline is pretty basic but not as creepy as I thought it would be. The hint is not helpful, it has tons of stuff to do in just one hint and it's confusing. The puzzles are pretty easy and the graphic is fine, but I hope it gives at least some voice overs. Ending is quite good, and what I always wish for a game. Not sure what the extra gameplay that CE offers but I am glad I just play the SE.

I should've guarded my money instead!
dont know how the ratings got this high, it was like being in a black and white movie, the art work so so bland and non dicript everything ran together in the HO'S a big blurry junk pile. my fault I didn't try before buy glad it was only a DD. I had to delete as soon as I finished.

Not the usual ghost story
Haunted towns full of ghosts aren't exactly a new thing in the HOG genre, but there's an original spin here on who the ghosts are and how they got there.
Graphics are beautiful and I especially liked the hidden object scenes. Even though they were junk piles, the artwork looked good and a few of the objects were really tricky to find! (I made the possible mistake of choosing the difficulty that gives you no hints at all, so a few times I spent ages looking for an object that was really well hidden, or didn't quite fit the word in the list thanks to poor translation.) My favourite thing about the game visually was the ghosts and the way they would fade in and out. The happily smiling ghosts were especially eerie!
The puzzles were pretty standard fare for the most part, but there were a few that were original or I've encountered infrequently. I was pretty happy with the variety.
I liked the story a lot. There's a twist about halfway through the game that is hinted at as you explore the city and it came to a satisfying conclusion.

fun game
Just a fun game to play. Nothing special just a game to play for an enjoyable day. Nothing hard about it.

Great game but way too short!
Really enjoyed this game, loved the storyline, the interactive HOS were great and not too cluttered but it was way too short! Having paid over 5 for this i do feel let down tbh, was quite shocked at the abrupt ending. The hint system is great and gives a few clues on what to do if you're stuck but didn't need it a lot. Quite easy mini games and not too frustrating. would have given 5 stars if it had been a bit longer.

great game
This game was lots of fun and challenging enough I had to check the walkthrough twice. It had a few too many hidden object games for me, but it was a really good game and worth the money.
