Very interesting This game was very interesting but, I didn't like the fact that it's not a puzzle game like the other Azada games. The people who made this one turned it into an ordinary hidden object game instead of the mini puzzles like the first one. I really enjoyed the first one more than this one hands down. Awesome Fun Adventure Game - This Rocks! This review is based on the whole game including the bonus game. There are 3 playing modes to choose from: Easy, Advanced, and Hardcore. I played the advanced mode. The story which I found to be very well done begins you've been advised by a Notary that you've inherited property from relatives in Prague and you must go there to claim it. The cut scenes, voice overs and graphics as with every ERS game I've played are very well done. Just awesome. These people definitely know how to make a game. This is also a pure adventure game as you will not find any hidden object scenes in this game. You will however acquire inventory items along the way to use in scenes of the game and there is some traveling back and forth locations. There is also a diary (journal) to help you along the way along with the hint button. Both I found pretty helpful most of the time. The hint which takes about a couple of minutes to charge back up after you've used it to be able to use again in the advance mode will also tell you if there is anything to do in that area or not. I did however a couple of times have to refer to the strategy guide which was nice to have available right with the game and found it very helpful to get me back on track with the game as I'll admit I lost my way a couple of times.. There's also quite a few puzzles in this game. Normally I don't much care for puzzles but these didn't bother me and I completed most of them. Only skipped a couple which in the advanced mode takes a couple of minutes for the skip to be available. The main game took me 5 to 6 hours cause I tend to take my time when I find a game to be very well done such as this one. I have to poke around and check out all the different areas and just admire the greatness and beauty before me. The bonus game I got through within an hour. Definitely worth the collector edition price of $13.99 in my opinion. 5 to 7 hours is definitely enough game play/exploring for me. Thanks Big Fish and ERS for an awesome game. Five star rating all the way from me. November 20, 2011
What has happened to Azada ? I'm so disappointed with this new Azada as it has become like so many of the other HOG's. I really enjoyed the different game format of the first 2 Azada's. I only played ths new one for about 10 mins before I got fed up with it and uninstalled it. Sorry Big Fish but, for me this didn't work. Please bring back its originality. November 28, 2011
CE vs SE I'm not a fast player, and need to consult the SG even though some say the game is too easy. I was surprised how fast I managed to finish. This game is very short, especially the Bonus episode. But without it the game is incomplete. I don't know how they plan to handle it in the SE. The game ends abruptly, and you only save everyone by playing the bonus game. I enjoyed playing, but think I would feel cheated if I had waited for the SE. I would like to hear comments for comparison after it comes out. The story is interesting, the Graphics are stunning as we have come to expect from ERS. There are few H0 scenes, and some unique twists on the puzzles. I muted the music as I always do, so can't comment on that aspect. I would recomend buying this game with reservations. Maybe in a CE sale? November 20, 2011
Not the Azada's of the Past.... I agree on this one falling just a wee bit short. Really enjoyed the other Azada games and was looking forward to this one. A bit let down I think. Sorry November 19, 2011
Disappoinment !!!THIS IS NOT AN AZADA GAME!!! I loved the First Game...Very Original ... and the second... but Honestly this thid in the serie is a Disappointment !!! This one is like a common HOG like thousands,,,(ok maybe better in graphics,,, But ABSOLUTELY NOT GOOD AS THE FIRST 2 IN THE SERIE !!! November 22, 2011
Shock factor for young kids My daughter and I played Azada one and two together and enjoyed both. She was therefore excited when this one came out. We started playing the demo and got to the one scene where the black cloud 'consumed' a body leaving behind a skeleton. She had nightmares that night. Did the programmer really have to do that. How about freezing, turning to stone, anything other than going for the shock factor. Most of the games I see in the puzzle listings I won't let her play, I figured Azda was different. Review of Azada in Libro I've never played on the Azada games. After reading the reviews, I downloaded the demo. After 25 minutes of playing, I purchased it. I really liked this game. You have to like Adventure games, which I do. You collect inventory items, and then use them elsewhere. I get burnt out on Hidden Object games all the time. This time I'm having fun figuring out what to do, where to go, the beginning has not been difficult, and I was actually able to play 2 mini games and solve without cheating. I have not had to do a lot of running around, though you do go back and forth to collect and use items. I turned the music way down. I just don't care for music in games. The best I remember there were 3 versions of play, easy, Intermediate, and one that is more challenging for experts. I did not play the expert level, as I'm not always good at solving things, etc., and like to be able to do on my own without always having to look up in the Strategy Guide what to do next. But it is nice to have if you need it. Again, I think if you like Adventure, versus strictly Hidden Object you will like this game. Oh, and it did have voice overs. It seems to be a long game, but I don't know for sure. I look at it as games used to cost around $50 and you had to go to the store to buy, so to me it's a deal whether it's $6.99 or $13.99, if I like the game, and I do like this one. I have learned always play the demo first though. December 11, 2011
Beautiful Adventure An excellent game with no H.O's, its an all puzzle game with beautiful art work, graphics. The puzzles were interesting and able to do without resorting to the skip button, so the game was a long one if you spend the time on completing the mini games yourself. The artwork was so good, in some scenes, especially the one by the river, it felt like you were actually there with the background sound effects as well; an excellent game that is best played at leisure to take in all the beautiful scenes. Loved this game. The artwork was absolutely breathtaking and I really appreciated that there were 3 difficulty levels. The story line was fun and the. puzzles were challenging. Games like these are the ones I love to play!!!! November 19, 2011
