Do this game in daylight! I've never been so caught by a game from the first scen. Bought the game immediately after finishing the "try", just had to go on playing. The ending even stressed me. November 20, 2011
Loved this Game My only complaint is that it was not longer. Of course that way I won't monopolize the computer all day. I thought I'd just play enough to see what it was like and could not stop till the end. Wonderful game! November 19, 2011
Scruffy4 The game itself was OK, but way too easy and too short .............I would not recommended it to anyone who wants a game to last awhile or wants a challenge. December 4, 2011
This one was just okay. I was disappointed after going on the 4-plus rating the other gamers gave it. The graphics were rough and it seemed I spent most of my time just running the cursor all over the screen waiting for the grabbit hand to appear and pick up a bunch of non-nondescript pieces of items. I did enjoy the mini games, though, and played them through (normally I just skip them ASAP). I'll take a pass on this one. November 24, 2011
Mystery Stories: Mountains of Madness This game is extremely awesome..... It does challange you to think. I just wish that I didn't have to stop playing when the free game was up. November 20, 2011
Much too short I actually enjoyed the game, but it was over in no time! It is very easy. I enjoyed the graphics. I am glad I got it on sale for $2.99, any more would have been too much. I was finished with this in no time, and wanted more. The HO was incredibly easy, no challenge at all in this game. December 26, 2012
good but not the greattest More like the beginnings of HO games. There are lots better out there now. The hint button and advice works good but still confusing in areas. HOS are good. The music if good and the graphics are great. Some voice over. TO me just an average game. Buy for 1/2 price as I will. December 17, 2012
Science Fiction graphics are a change from the medieval ones. For a non collector's edition, this was worth the money. Very staccato texture to the graphics. November 4, 2012
Very, good game especially as a special 2.99 I wasn't sure I wanted to play this first time around as a demo but decided to get it as a special. I really enjoyed it. Cold, gloomy day so this was the right RX for it. I really, enjoyed the story and it was more adventure then usual HO fair. Glad I got it and will definitely play it again. If you want something different then all the paranormal stuff. I say, 'go for it'. I got so involved I finished it. Didn't take real long but enjoyed it none the less. Cheers!! November 4, 2012
Great game with lots of Atmosfear! Fans of HP Lovecraft will appreciate this game for the great sense of atmosphere that has been brought over from the book. It really feels like you are searching through an alien and incomprehensible landscape with it's own rules. It reminds me of the old PC game Gateway 2 Homeworld. If you are not familiar with Lovecraft but interested in this game, do your self a favor and read At the Mountains of Madness and then check out this game, it will add much more to the experience. Besides, IMO, At the Mountains of Madness is probably the most approachable Lovecraft "Mythos" story and it's pretty short. You don't have to be a die hard Lovecraft fan to enjoy the book or this game. May 3, 2012
