Didn't expect to like it................. ..........but I DID!!!! after the poor reviews I thought that I would see what such an appalling game was like, so I tried the demo.....played the full hour and got hooked !!!!!! I bought it as a deal of the day.....so double bonus !! I'll admit the objects in the HOS are small but thats what the magnifying glass is for people!!!! Unfortunately the game was completed in 2.5 hrs......so very short game indeed. Have a wonderful yuletide fishes Fiona x November 7, 2012
Hidden Object Game Nice game but to much talking, I just wanted to get on and play the game. November 29, 2011
Enjoyable Gameplay, Intriguing Story! Look forward to variety of games that BFG offers to us as not everyone likes the same ole same ole. Any story that contains The Vatican, Knights of the Templar, etc. is always interesting for me. Well rendered artwork and graphics. The timed gameplay was challenging and unique! Enjoy! -Mama Mia- November 8, 2012
Good Story Line - terrible format I find this format very slow and tedious. Little challenge in the hidden object. November 22, 2011
Boring game Quit after 10 min of trial. Too much dialogue and too slow to get through the dialogue... won't let you skip it. Seems amatuerish and outdated. Art in it is good but can't see any entertainment value in the game. Can't believe the BFG would even have such a game. The only good thing I can say about it is that recently I've seen a few worse games on BFG. November 7, 2012
Developer Sticks To The Same Mediocre Format Okay, SOMEONE must like these odd little games, because Mzone/Solilab keeps spending time and money developing tons of them. The only positive thing that struck me about Secrets of the Vatican, was the great storyline. It was intriguing and grabbed my interest right away. Unfortunately, I quickly became frustrated with the mechanics of game play. * I agree, the music was terrible in that it was more like noise than music. The graphics were super cheesy and hidden objects were blurry or poorly drawn. * There was a lot of dialogue which I normally don't mind if there's a good story. But the main characters were cartoonish and popped back and forth across the screen whenever they spoke. Kind of gave me a headache. Additional characters were ridiculous black silhouettes so I had no idea what they looked like. Found that downright strange. * Yes, there was a magnifying glass for finding the really small objects. Problem was, most of the items were small, blurry or poorly drawn. So I was constantly using the magnifying glass to find things, which quickly made the game less fun. * I could find gold stars for additional hints. But I used those up pretty quick, because I just didn't want to keep hurting my eyes looking for tiny items. * Puzzles had vague instructions, making some of them difficult to solve. Also had to wait quite a while for the Skip button to become active. All these negatives of game play quickly cancelled my need to solve the Secrets of the Vatican. I recommend not wasting your time on this one. November 7, 2012
secrets of the vatican just awful. to much reading & TERRIBLE GAME November 23, 2011
Good Idea, Bad Execution This game offered no challenge, as it consisted primarily of really easy hidden object scenes. If by some stroke of bad luck you can't find an object, don't worry. Within five seconds it will start flashing at you. This "hint" is even faster when you're not in an HO scene. The mini games were too few and far between. November 22, 2011
hidden object way to much talking and it walks you through every thing no challenge and no fun.... November 21, 2011
Awful Way way to much dialogue. You waste the whole time reading instead of doing the game. Objects to small and dark to see. Don't waste your time. November 25, 2012
