Wolfish Fun
*these comments are based on game completion in advanced mode*
Having read some of the comments from pro players I almost missed this little gem of a game.
It is very clever, sly and witty. . if you are paying attention
Imho Bane is compact but not necessarily a short story gaming experience. How long it takes to play depends on how long you simply want to stare at the screen looking around at everything. Yes, it is an easy play, if you want to power your way through to the conclusion. I am not always up for a game that takes hours to finish. Some times I want a game that doesn't aggravate my already fried brain cells.
My main aggravation was the music, much like other commentators. I turned the volume down. Another was the over-sized custom cursor, getting in my way while scanning scenes for POIs. Also some items in HO scenes were not quite correctly identified.
These issues did not overshadow Bane's fun factor. It is pure pleasure to play a game that does not take itself too seriously. For instance, some of the HOs "inside" the HO scenes were very much kid-like fun.
Fun is good. Wolfish fun is better!

A Good Game But ...
This would be a good HO game except that, once again, the HO list uses a font that is hard to see (color of font against color of background), size AND most important, hard to read because of the font type. It is too fancy to be readable at that size. There is NO reason why the HO list can't be done in a clean, clear, arial type of font that would makine finding the objects the hard part - not reading the list. I had to give the game the lower ratings because of the font problems. They really do take the level of game fun down for me.

I love ERS Studios!!
I can't help myself, I love the ERS studio games! I know they might all seem the same, but who doesn't love beautiful graphics, music, puzzles, and storylines!! Sorry, but I know there are lots of us out there. This game was a joy to play. It was challenging but not too challenging. (I'm old I don't need super complicated, just entertaining). i highly recommend it.
Keep them coming ERS!!!

Enjoyable, but nothing new.
Same excellent calibre I've come to expect with all ERS games. Followed on nicely from the first story. Lovely graphics and interesting storyline. Puzzles were relatively easy, but none were 'new'. Music was a little annoying.
Would have liked the game to be a little longer - bit on the short side.
Bonus chapter, whilst enjoyable, didn't seem to run with the story line - almost like an alternative ending.
Still, overall, a most enjoyable game.

ERS does it again!
Another fantastic game from ERS. I was hooked from the beginning and played it straight through. The storyline was compelling and the visuals were wonderful. The challenge was definitely up to ERS Games' usual top-notch level. It is a great playing experience for any hidden object fan.

Excellent Game
I beta tested this game and the graphics are lovely. There are voice overs. The HOG scenes are clear and items are easy to find. The puzzles are not too difficult. An excellent storyline. I would recommend this game to anyone.

A+ ALL THE WAY
This is a great game. The story line was excellent and the game flowed well. There wasn't too match going back and forth to get inventory items and game pieces. I did not have to use the strategy guide or the walk through. The HOS were clear and always had one or two items that required a lot of hunting or the use of a hint. I don't think I had to skip any of the mini-games, but then, there weren't any of the kind that I take one look at and skip immediately. The game held my interest the entire time. The only thing was, when I finished it, it said I qualified for extra play, but I wasn't able to figure out where to go to do that. No biggie. If you have a choice between the standard version of a game and the collector's edition, I would recommend that you always go with the collector's edition. This one was great, and I've already purchased the other one in this series.

Excellent but way too short
Great game, nice follow up to the first one, but way too short and no extra content after you complete it in the CE. Recommend only of you buy the regular version, CE not worth the extra money.

EXCELLENT What an HO game should be.
The graphics were as good as any yet. The HOS were very good, challenging but not impossible. If I had any complaint it would be that there were times when I had no idea where to go next, but I find that to be the case in many of the newer HO games. The main object of any HO game is the HOS. This one really has a large number of them and they keep you busy looking. I enjoyed it very much and I highly recommend it.

AWESOME GAME
Another awesome game from ERS. I have not seen so many HOGs in a game a long awhile. Got this for a gift from the grand kids and I am glad I pick this one. The story was interesting, HOGS were challenging, graphics was great, music and sound were out there. Kept you in intrigue, and the end was great because it let you know you will hopeful sooner then later a new game will follow.
