Lots to do in this game!
I just finished playing this game for the second time, which is a pretty good review, in and of itself. I like just about everything about the game - the choice of difficulty level, the music, the graphics are wonderful, and the ambiance is just creepy enough to really enjoy , as I'm a big fan of "creepy". The story is inventive and moves along well, as does the game play. The integrated strategy guide is easy to use, too. There is a bit of "footwork", going back and forth between places, but it makes sense in the game. Hidden object scenes are bright and not overly cluttered. Animations are good, as are the voiceovers. The puzzles were imaginative and the interaction within hidden object scenes was fine, too. All in all, an engaging game that moves along well, delightfully creepy here and there, with lots to do in every chapter, which meant that the length of play was a couple of evenings for me. A great game!

Fantastic game!
Brilliant game, nice and relaxing and not too frustrating when you just fancy a nice relaxing game. The HOS were a little dark in places but the hint system works well and charges after around 20 seconds. Love the creepy storyline and the story kept me entertained and i didn't get bored. The only negative i have is the fact the game is way too short to warrant a CE, finished after 2 hours. All in all i would recommend this game and play again :-)

Good but not great for CE
I loved it from the start grabbing money bags for extra play.... but the play was on the short side, the bonus play was ok, fun game but not in my top ten. I would definitely recommend this game as an SE, loved the extra fun of finding the bags of gold but in the long run the game came in short.
Good graphics but not great, great adventure game, puzzles were ok, were a bit challenging not too hard, I like challenge but I like originality and fun better.
If I had the choice I'd go SE but I already bought CE. oh well.
I expected more, but still better than most.

Pleasant Game
Good story, good sound, great graphics. Is long with a lot of things to do, but is not a challenging game. All mini games are too easy,as well as the HOS. Good entertainment.

VERY GOOD AND INTERESTING CE GAME
Shackled to the floor and you're life is in danger. Really grabs your attention. Creative objects can be located. Gold pouches to gather as well as "unlockables" scores to reach are added goals. Background raindrops rather than music adds subtle, somber touch. Looking for a good CE game on the bonus weekend and found this gem!

Great Story
Great story and good puzzles. Hidden object scenes a little too samey and puzzles sometimes too easy. Good overall.

its my type of game
Normal I like hidden object, but I think the qual. of this game is poor, and if you compair it with a game like redemption, ecco of the past o.l. you wil get very disapoint.. sorry BUT maybe you wil like it

LIKE SURPRISE ENDINGS
STORYLINE: You?re investigating the downfall of a dilapidated abandoned town at the request of Evelyn. People you talk to keep disappearing before your eyes and mysterious photos turn up showing their faces burned out. What is going on? Then, Evelyn warns you against Diane, a cop who has murdered 5 people already. Officer Diane says she needs your help in figuring out what happened to the town and warns you that Evelyn is just a con artist. Who is right? Your life may depend on it.
Interactive HOS: uncrowded, somewhat drab, large and identifiable objects. PUZZLES: A wide variety; none exasperating. For mini-games, sometimes you can insert an object even if you need two. Othertimes, you will need to have accumulated all of the objects in inventory before you can use them for the puzzle. Good mix of HOS to puzzles and mini-games. Collect 30 gold pouches to gain access to the extras (downloadable music, etc.)
GAMEPLAY: Easy to get around. Graphics look good on my 27? screen and sound effects are good. Piano music is unobtrusive. Voice overs are fairly good (dialogue is also written if you turn off voices). Story moves at a fast pace. The ending was a real surprise. About 4 1/2 hours casual.

Meh!
I bought this for the ipad thinking it would be an exciting challenging game. Yeah not so much..... I didnt get the plot and the ending was less then desired.
Dont waste your $$.
