Delightful Surprise At first, I felt a bit like I was walking through the pages of a comic book, but I was quickly drawn into the story. Each character introduced was appealing, even in their wickedness - the unveiling of their stories was artfully done. The quests the player is sent on are full of adventure, fun and surprising. The Hint button was one of the most user friendly ones I've experienced - thank you for that! I did not stop until I had finished the game. I kept saying I needed to take a break, but the game drew me on, questioning what my next task would be, how I was going to solve it, and leaving me with a contented sigh when I discovered the solution. I finished this game smiling. January 25, 2012
Really good game The music and storeyline were excellent. The game is quite challenging but the hint button renews quickly so you're not stuck. Some of the HOs were hard to find even with the hint and I thought I had to run around the entire town too much, but there are chapters in the journal that could have elimiated a lot of it if I had used it. Better Than Average This is a well done hidden object game with some issues, but nothing that hugely detracts from it. The story is decently done, with a good sense of urgency due to the plight of the character. The first half of the game moves along at a decent clip, but the second half is very rushed and has too many "pick up an object, immediately have a use for said object" type scenarios for my liking. Characters are decently developed, although I would have liked some voice acting. A couple other minor quibbles: the journal fills in before you do actions (so be careful if you like surprises), and the minigames in particular are interesting variations on old favorites but very very easy. If you play these type of games often, you'll breeze through this. Art quality is pretty good overall. I liked the animations in the hidden object scenes, and there are a decent amount of cutscenes as well. The opening one in particular is very well done. Ending is anticlimactic, though I suppose if you splurge for the collector's edition that might be cleared up a bit more. The music I was not a fan of. Turned the speakers down about halfway through as it was far too repetitive. At the end of the day, it's a good quick play with an interesting concept. Don't expect the ending to do that much for you and you'll be fine. December 20, 2011
fun hiddeen object game I love all hidden object games. However my favorites are ones without the inventory items just object list that you have to find November 25, 2011
OK Game Everything was just average. No puzzles to speak of. Mostly HOS. They were straight forward and OK. Nothing really to say except it was OK. April 15, 2012
Decent, But Not One I'd Spend Money On! Good Parts: Pretty good graphics, clear, well designed and modern. A great storyline; very unique, interesting and hooks you in. Would've been better with voice-overs. Hint recharges fast OK Parts: Like I mentioned before. I would've liked to have had some voiceovers in the game. There should've been a few puzzles at least. Bad Parts: The game really needs a strategy guide. I spent ages figuring out what to do next and always needed to use the hint. I didn't like the Hidden Object Scenes that much. The objects were too hard to find and I'd always use the hint. Overall, a decent game, but not one that's going to have me rushing to get out the credit card. Download the trial and see what you think. August 18, 2012
Very good game I first downloaded the trial CE of this game and didn't care for it at all. Then the regular game came out and I played the trial of it and liked it a lot, so I bought it. I thoroughly enjoyed playing Resurrection, NM. The mini games are all very clever and keep you on your toes. I would definitely recommend this version of the game for anyone to purchase. Thanks BFG for another winner!! December 3, 2011
A DEFINITE BUY Very good graphics and music. A few moments that will make you jump, scary-what I like in a game. I liked the hints system since there is very little load time. The game is shorter than some but thats OK. Hope to see more from this gaming company. November 28, 2011
Good game overall! I enjoyed the storyline though it did have some flaws. Liked: - Setting and atmosphere - Music and sound effects were pretty nice - Fun to play Disliked: - No voice-acting at all. Not a deal breaker, but disappointing. - Some of the objects in the H0 scenes are a little blurry or not clearly defined so it was hard to find things sometimes, especially in scenes that are more "landscape." - Story seemed to rush a little and lacked some explanations behind a few of the characters' motivation and the ending was a little abrupt with no epilogue. It would have been nice to see what the main character's feelings were after resolving the situation. (I'd elaborate, but I don't want to spoil anything!) Despite some of the flaws, I still enjoyed the setting and overall story. I would have liked more story depth and for the game not to feel so rushed toward the end. If you don't like snakes, bats, rats or bugs, I would recommend avoiding this as they pop up often and sometimes abruptly to fill up the screen. Other than that, download the trial and give this a go.. I found it very enjoyable! Enjoy! August 12, 2012
Overall fun game It was different, I do like the ones where you don't get everything in one place. December 12, 2011
