Knight This!!!
HOG games are becoming very predictable. This one is a good example of a game that has many superior attributes, but becomes frustrating and tedious as the game goes on.
About half way through the game, I was so spread out with a bunch of nebulous inventory items that I had to keep hitting the hint button to progress. IMHO, this takes the "fun" out of a game. AAMOF, I would bet that there are a few tasks that NO ONE could figure out without some help. There's a map, but it's not interactive.
So, here we are....foreign programmers cranking out dozens of HOG's with spectacular graphics and seemingly endless scenes and tasks, only to make some of us wish the game would just end.
Mystery Case Files set the bar too high for the number of games being produced. I bought this one sight unseen, because I really liked Sam Hain. I wish I had played the demo first. Bah Humbug!!!

no continuity to the game we did not know why we were going anywhere
we did not enjoy this game at all. We had to use the hints too often because we had no idea what we were doing. Usually like these games but sorry to say this one will not be played again.

Not very logical
I thought this might be a great game but it is not. I like a game that gives you inventory and you are able to remember where things should be used because you have visited a place and know what you need to solve something. But without the hint buttom, I was unable to get anywhere. This is not fun--it is follow the instructions kind of game. The visuals are excellent but for the rest, no challenge to piece together a mystery. Bummer. There is no logic only a hint button that has you running around to do what it tells you. Sorry but that is just how I feel and it's not fun playing the game.

Very good game
Very entertaining adventure, supported by excellent graphics and an interesting story, even if a bit confused..Nice and original the setting in southern France, many beautiful locations to explore, a lot to do, very challenging puzzles, (even if in some cases was not so easy to figure out what to do beacuse of not so clear instructions), amazing HOS, very interactives also with inventory items (spoiler..sometimes you have to come back after the first passage because you will find only later in the game that to need to complete the scene). You will need, from time to time, a bit of fantasy to decide what to do or where to go..but to make the brain work is also the fun of this kind of adventures!...The game took me more then 5 hours in hardcore mode (no skip and hints available but you can change the gameplay mode while playing), ends conclusively but leaving a door open for a sequel...A very good game for many hours of fun!

not great but good
Seems like you were just going from one place to another with not real apparent reason. No real flow for finding things to use and advancing. The HOS were not hard and some were different. Puzzles were ok. Not elephants best game.

doesn't flow
sorry but i found this game very disappointing. the graphics were bad. even when you click on hint to find an object you couldn't see it. i couldn't wait to get to the end so i could delete it. don't waste your money. wish i could say something good about the game but can't.............

Another Brilliant Production by Elephant Games
My favourite developer gives me another brilliant game. I simply loved it.
Good Parts:
Excellent. realistic, very well-desiged graphics.
Loved the storyline. Intro was like watching a movie.
Really liked the Hidden Object Scenes and the challenge they presented. Interactive object were fun, as well as needing to use an item from your inventory.
Hint recharged very, very fast.
The skip was there almost instantly, no need to even try and attempt the puzzles.
Excellent cutscenes.
Ecellent soundtrack.
OK Parts:
Would've liked another hidden object scene or two.
Bad Parts:
Sometimes it was really hard to figure out what to do next.
A lot of going back and forth in the game.
Overall, the game is yet another must buy by Elephant Games. Can't wait for the next one!

Just How I Like it
This game had everything I like. The HOS scenes have little extras: not just items on a list. Great story with real time video. Great inventory puzzles. Puzzles were difficult but skippable. It had 3 different levels of play. I was on the easiest. I like my games casual. Very casual and this one was perfect. Love Elephant Games.

Well worth a play.
Despite the somewhat overused theme of the Templars this is an enjoyable game and with its long length is well worth the money. The atmospheric music adds to the mystery but the naff cut-scenes are pretty laughable and take away from it somewhat. The best part about this game is that you sometimes have to use collected items in the hidden object scenes to unlock an item on the list. This makes hunting for hidden objects a little more exciting. Although at one point I was nearly driven to destraction trying to find an item in the scene which was actually in my inventory.
