Just as fun as the first one :) Loved the first royal envoy and this one is great too December 20, 2011
New and improved! I have long awaited the sequel to Royal Envoy; so glad it is here! The first game was fun, and the sequel is much better in several ways. If you found the first game too frustrating, you might want to give this one a try. IMHO, it's a bit easier than the first, but there is still plenty of strategy involved to keep you entertained. The biggest and best change is no more waiting for workers or tax collectors to bring supplies back to the castle. All you have to do is click on them to collect them. In fact, you don't use tax collectors at all. Workers do it all, so you only have to manage one type of worker. There are also a couple of new challenges (spoiler alert!) - a challenging wood maze in level 4 and a couple of snowball fights - fun! And you have to make the leprechauns happy... Otherwise, it is very similar to the first game - build, collect supplies, dig up treasures, pay off pirates, and finish before your time runs out. Do it all at the 3 star level and you unlock the Expert level. This new version also gives you more awards to win, so you can go back and play over and over to meet those goals. Well worth the $$$ - check it out! February 4, 2012
Brilliant Excellent sequel to an excellent game. Love it December 19, 2011
I'm So Sad Where are my tax collectors? Why did they change the style of game play to arcade? I hate point and click arcade games. RE1 was a beautiful game that required time management skills, not a point and click on the resources before they disappear skill. The new features take away from the fun of managing your workers and collectors and cheapens the look of the game. I waited for this game so long and just feel cheated. I've tried to get into the game multiple times but find myself going back to RE1 quickly. RE2 was the first game I bought without trialing and now I wish I had tested it. December 29, 2011
not as good as the first one don't like how the workers make a comment EVERY time you click don't like how, for instance, on the maze level [on the supposedly "easier" setting] winning depends on timed speed-clicking rather than strategy the improvements to the game do not outshine the flaws i want brain fun, not tension February 17, 2012
Just as good as the first! For once a game comes out with a sequel that is just as good as the first. Challenging without being discouraging and looking forward to the next rounds. Great game and great game play make this one THE one I had to buy instantly! December 19, 2011
Time Constraints Are Too Much This game follows the previous game in style and in gameplay. There are a few changes, though, and some of them are not for the better. In particular, the timer runs out rather quickly. Another not-so-great feature is that you MUST click the items (wood, food, coins) in order to collect them. If you don't, they'll vanish. I don't know why they changed this, because now you're almost constantly clicking. It's pretty tedious. December 18, 2011
Loved the Original Royal Envoy I am a Build a Lot Addict and really enjoyed playing Royal Envoy..i purchased the collectors edition and am pleased with my purchase..However..i tried the trial offer for the 2nd one and i really hate the game..it reminds me more of an arcade game or super mario brothers..you have to actually click on the resources..you have to collect food large apple icons..and the resources disappear if you do not get to them fast enough..i hate this type of game and it strayed too far from the original imo..this is just me..sure many of you love it..as for myself ..i will be putting this one on my list of disappointing games.. Most playing time from a CE ever I buy CEs somewhat frequently, and at best I usually get an extra hour to hour-and-a-half of playing time. With the bonus levels of this CE (30 challenge levels) in addition to the levels in Expert mode, I've played this game for DAYS. That doesn't even count the extra times I have played levels just to get achievements. I have definitely gotten my money's worth and more. I am actually going back to buy the CE of the first game, too. Love the problem solving, and the fact that there is usually more than one way to win a level. February 26, 2012
LOVED the changes! The entire game is MUCH easier, and at the same time more challenging than ever! The rent collection process is easier - by far! I love that it is more intuitive. The creators have outdone themselves! Can't wait for the iPad version! February 5, 2012
