For those looking for a nice, lengthy game!
The good reviews attracted me to this game and when I tried, yes, it is quite good. There are lots of HO sequences but the locations are often repeated and some of the objects to be found are also repeated.
It's a fairly easy game to play with clean graphics and ambient music plus a really good dose of the macabre.
It's just a pity the game does not come with a teleport map so you have to really remember the fastest route to where you want to go. Still, it's a good and lengthy game.

Fun Game!
Really enjoyed the storeyline, bought the full game. Usually I have bought MCF games on here and was not to sure about trying others but this kept me quite entertained.
- Puzzles can be solved easily
- Intruiging story & mystical
- Nice Graphics
- No glitches

Nice Game!
I have enjoyed playing this game but wouldn't say it was my favourite of the hidden object adventure games. It is however certainly worth the game club price I paid for it. I would say that it took me around 4 1/2 hours to complete over two days and it did keep me entertained for the majority. There is a large series of hidden object scenes towards the end of the game that I found to be a bit tedious but I do tend to enjoy the adventure part of games these games more than the hidden object scenes themselves.
The art work in and around the manor is lovely and there are plenty of places to explore. I was disappointed with the hidden object scenes however as I felt that they were all a bit too similar to each other.
The music and sound effects are good and true to the feel of each scene but the music within the actual hidden object scenes can be a bit annoying.
The story line is OK but very predictable.
Overall it is a nice game which I am glad that I purchased.

WOW, what a game!
I absolutely loved this game! It was the best HO game I have ever played. Just when I thought I was about finished, I remembered that there was more to search. Door after door! Great, great, great! I just can't say enough good things about this game. I loved every moment of it!

Truely addictive adventure from start to finish.
I played the trial version and that was over before I knew it, straightaway I upgraded to the CE version because even though I have only been playing these games for a short time I like the Bonus at the end, this is like a special treat for finishing the game. Anyway on what was a rainy sunday afternoon I clawed my way through this game and I only regret that it is over already, I started the Bonus game but I have purposely left it unfinished to savour this a little longer.
Fantastic game, Great Graphics and storyline, as someone said in another review "Bit morbid but well thought through"
I would definately get the Follow up to this game.

A great game
I LOVE this game. I love it so much that I didn't care that it had no choice of difficulty or that it didn't have voiceovers or that the hint system kind of sucked in most scenes as it stopped working when you missed a step along the way so Id be lost forever til I figured out what I didn't do but the story line was fantastic. I loved the originality of the game. Yes it had the save the souls kind of aspect but the possessed sister is a new one especially a twin sister. I enjoyed the house and all the extra rooms to explore and the length of this game is spot on. If I had bought the CE I would have been very pleased with the length and for a SE, it was great value.
I loved that despite the sparkles, I got stuck A LOT and had to use my brain to decipher what to do next. I loved that it took me days to finish this game. I loved that it had things to collect at the end so you had to go through all the hidden object scenes again to retrieve the items. I LOVE games that do that because it wraps up the story and you can see all the places you have been and where you are now. I loved that just when I thought the game was over, there was another piece to explore. I loved that everyone stayed dead and didn't come back to life like the rest of the cheesy games we see.
My only suggestion to developers is to please give us a difficulty choice as I would have loved to see a no sparkle mode but I just have a warm fuzzy spot for this game. Sad its over and can't wait to play it again someday soon. So good it makes me want to replay the first one which I loved just as much. Cheers developers for a great game!

Not the best game ever, but worth playing
Just finished this and was happy with a satisfying ending; some of the ones I've been playing lately haven't been so good. There is a lot of running back and forth, but I didn't seem to mind it as much as in some other games. There was always another room opening up to explore. The HO scenes were relatively easy except for a couple items in very dark corners. There were some unique puzzles which, again, were pretty straightforward and not too hard. It didn't take me long to finish but, because of the running around I guess, it seemed a little longer than some. Don't listen to music, so can't comment on that. Graphics not stellar but okay. All in all, I thought it was a pretty good game. Worth recommending.

Great Quality Spooky Adventure!
From the gorgeous and detailed graphics to the creepy, eerie music and great storyline, this game offers a great adventure to those who enjoy hidden object scenes (HOS) and mini-puzzles in a ghostly environment.
The HOS are relatively easy without the annoying limits of clicking, the hints rapidly charge to help you throughout the game and the puzzles are easy to moderate and definitely unique and creative from your normal adventure HOS game.
There are many elements to solve and objects to pick up from various locations and you have to stay a little more focused in remembering all of the things you have and need to do. It definitely is challenging enough to keep you interested and draw you in to play and solve the game.
There are many places to go and much to accomplish and you usually will have to visit a place several times to complete all of the things you need to do, so it helps you with getting familiar with your surroundings and a great reminder of what you've accomplished and what else needs to get completed.
The length of the game is longer than average, which helps you feel like you are getting your money's worth and overall was designed and made with great quality and has a great grande finale. The reason why I only rate this game 4 stars is because I tolerate HOS to get through these type of adventure games (I love puzzles# and there are a number of HOS particularly at the end of the game and the 4 stars are more for just my own personal rating. Like versus Love. If you enjoy and love HOS, then you definitely will love this game. I definitely recommend to play #even if you don't love HOS)!

Lots of back and forth
This was a good game with plenty of challenges. Nothing too extremely difficult but you do have to do a lot of traveling around to find clues and discover how to use them. A couple of times I thought I would never find the next clue and became quite frustrated. There was one object that was never used and one door that never opened....perhaps these are utilized in the collector's edition? The ending is quite abrupt and hints to a sequel. If you like a game with a mixture of HOS and objects that have to be found and used, this is a good one.
